Freed Hostage Yarden Bibas Describes Hamas Cruelty, Expresses Gratitude to Trump

Yarden Bibas describes Hamas savagery, mourns his family, and pleads directly to Trump in emotional first interview.

In an emotional interview that left millions stunned, freed Israeli hostage Yarden Bibas broke his silence on national television, revealing the horrifying brutality he endured at the hands of Hamas terrorists and the one man he believes is responsible for saving his life: Donald J. Trump.

“I’m here because of Trump,” Bibas told 60 Minutes. “Only because of him. I think he’s the only one who can stop this war again.”

Bibas, who was taken hostage by Hamas during their barbaric October 7th attack on Israel, lost his entire immediate family his wife Shiri and their two young sons, Ariel and Kfir while in captivity. The three were murdered in what Bibas called “cold blood, with bare hands,” a description backed by forensic evidence.

Key moments from Bibas’ first public remarks:

  • He begged former President Trump directly: “Please stop stop this war and help bring all the hostages back.”

  • He described being taunted by Hamas captors who told him he could just “get a new wife, better kids.”

  • Underground in Hamas tunnels, he said, “The whole earth would move like an earthquake,” as IDF strikes hit above.

Bibas’ plea is more than symbolic. While the Biden administration continues to waffle with weak diplomacy and appeasement, Trump’s leadership is still remembered by both allies and enemies as firm, clear, and effective. Bibas chose an American outlet for his story specifically to reach Trump not Biden, not the UN, and certainly not the woke media establishment.

Another freed American hostage, Keith Siegel, echoed Bibas' testimony. Siegel recounted horrifying abuse, including sexual assault against female hostages, which he witnessed firsthand.

“I saw a young woman being tortured,” Siegel said. He also dismissed MSNBC’s Lesley Stahl after she tried to downplay the abuse. “They would eat in front of me and not offer me food,” he said, confirming deliberate starvation, not scarcity.

He also revealed how Hamas would shave male hostages’ heads and genitals for humiliation, describing it as degrading and deeply dehumanizing.

The bodies of Bibas’ wife and children were only returned after international outrage, following a grotesque display by Hamas in which they paraded the corpses of hostages in front of a cheering crowd mistakenly including the wrong woman as Shiri.

The Bibas family had become a symbol of Hamas’s terror following the viral footage of Shiri clinging to her two redheaded sons during the initial kidnapping. Their murder has helped ignite global fury, especially as the confirmed number of Israeli children killed by Hamas has now risen to 55.

While the Biden administration continues to send mixed messages, embolden Iran, and lean on Israel to show “restraint,” real leadership is once again being called for. And Yarden Bibas, a man who’s lost everything, believes only one man has the strength to deliver it.
