Whoopi Goldberg Criticizes Trump Supporters, Says She Won’t Engage with Them

Whoopi Goldberg is making it clear: she has no interest in speaking to Trump supporters. During Monday’s episode of The View, the longtime liberal host admitted that she refuses to even have conversations with people who support President Donald Trump essentially writing off half the country.

Goldberg, who still refuses to say Trump’s name out loud, dismissed the idea of finding common ground with his voters, claiming that they back a leader who “thinks you don’t matter in the country.”

Goldberg’s remarks are eerily reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s infamous “basket of deplorables” comment in 2016, when she smeared millions of working-class Americans as irredeemable. The elitist mentality is still alive and well, as Hollywood liberals like Goldberg continue to push the narrative that Trump supporters are beneath them.

• Ana Navarro complained that anti-Trump “resistance” efforts weren’t strong enough and that Democrats were struggling to connect with voters.

• Alyssa Farah Griffin suggested that to be effective, they’d need to engage with Trump supporters prompting Goldberg’s dismissive response.

• Goldberg outright rejected the idea of reaching out, instead implying that Trump voters are beyond reason and undeserving of dialogue.

This is the same Whoopi Goldberg who frequently lectures conservatives about “unity” and “understanding,” yet she openly refuses to engage with anyone who disagrees with her. It’s a perfect example of how the left preaches tolerance while practicing the exact opposite.

Meanwhile, Trump and his supporters continue to focus on policies that help everyday Americans border security, economic growth, and energy independence while leftist elites like Goldberg sit in their media bubbles, refusing to acknowledge reality.

Goldberg may think she’s making a statement, but all she’s doing is proving that the real intolerance in America comes from the left.
