Elizabeth Warren Highlights Kamala Harris' Visit to Abortion Clinic as Major Achievement

In a recent interview, Senator Elizabeth Warren claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris’ “biggest accomplishment” in office was becoming the first sitting vice president to visit an abortion clinic. Warren's remarks came during a conversation with CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins, where she lauded Harris for her dedication to contentious issues.

“What do you think has been her biggest accomplishment since she’s been vice president?” Collins inquired.

“Oh, I have to say, since the Dobbs opinion, the way that she has rallied women and friends of women, also called men, around this country on the issue of abortion, and just taken it home,” Warren enthusiastically responded.

Warren further highlighted Harris’ historic visit to an abortion clinic, cheering, “Go get ’em!” She emphasized Harris' willingness to openly discuss challenging topics, contrasting her approach with that of President Joe Biden, who has been less vocal on the issue of abortion. “President Biden didn’t even mention the word abortion,” Collins noted, to which Warren replied, “But Vice President Harris has, and she’s talked about it with compassion, but also with a sense of what is right.”

Warren continued, “How can we be a country that half of America lost rights because of an extreme Supreme Court put in place by Donald Trump.” This pointed comment underscores the deep political divide on abortion rights following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

In stark contrast to Harris’ landmark visit, former President Donald Trump made history by becoming the first sitting President of the United States to address the largest annual pro-life gathering, the March for Life. This juxtaposition between Harris and Trump highlights the clear divide in their stances on one of America’s most polarizing issues.
