Vance Trump Will Back Israel to ‘Knock Out’ Hamas If Hostages Aren’t Freed

Vice President-elect JD Vance made it clear on Sunday: if Hamas doesn’t release the hostages, Israel will be fully backed in wiping them out once Donald Trump returns to the White House. Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Vance warned that Trump’s tough stance is already pressuring Hamas into last-minute negotiations, proving once again that real leadership gets results.

“It’s very clear that President Trump threatening Hamas and making it clear that there is going to be hell to pay is part of the reason why we’ve made progress on getting some hostages out,” Vance said.

Unlike Joe Biden, who has spent his presidency weakly negotiating and appeasing terrorist groups, Trump has made it clear: if hostages remain in Gaza after January 20, Hamas will face total annihilation.

Vance outlined what Hamas can expect if it refuses to comply:

• Full Israeli military support to eliminate the last remaining Hamas battalions and their leadership.

• Severe sanctions on nations and organizations funding terrorism in the Middle East.

• A return to strong U.S. leadership, which kept the region in check during Trump’s first term.

Trump’s Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, traveled to Israel over the weekend to push for a last-minute hostage release deal before Trump takes office. Negotiations mediated by Qatar, Egypt, and the U.S. have reportedly reached a final draft stage, with a ceasefire and hostage exchange possibly just hours away.

Fox News chief foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reported Monday morning that an agreement could soon begin the process of releasing hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners, with the war in Gaza potentially coming to an end.

Hamas is out of time. They can either release the hostages now or prepare for complete destruction. Under Trump, there will be no room for terrorists to operate freely. This isn’t the weak Biden administration anymore it’s America First, and terrorists will pay the price.
