VP Vance Slams Nike Over Alleged Funding of Youth Transgender Study

Vice President JD Vance isn’t letting woke corporations off the hook especially when they meddle in our nation’s cultural foundations under the guise of "progress." This week, Vance took direct aim at Nike over its alleged role in funding a transgender study involving youth athletes, calling it yet another example of elite-backed lunacy that defies both biology and common sense.

The study in question aimed to determine if young biological males could be given enough pharmaceutical "treatment" to safely compete against girls and women. That’s right the so-called science wasn’t designed to protect women’s sports, but to engineer a workaround so that boys could dominate them without raising too many eyebrows.

According to the study’s lead researchers Dr. Kathryn Ackerman and Joanna Harper (a male who identifies as a woman) Nike helped fund the project. While Nike later claimed to OutKick that the study was “never initialized” and has been shelved, the timeline is murky. The company refuses to offer any transparency or clarity on the issue.

Vance didn’t mince words during an interview on Clay & Buck. 

“Maybe they just thought the progressives were going to win, so they decided to fund this stuff to the hilt... not realizing that the American people would have a rebellion against the craziness.”

That rebellion is well underway. A Gallup poll in 2023 found that 69% of Americans oppose biological males competing in women’s sports, and even far-left figures like Gavin Newsom have started quietly backing away from the trans-in-sports narrative.

Nike, for its part, still proudly showcases its support for every fashionable left-wing cause on its website but when it comes to explaining its involvement in this controversial study, the company has gone completely dark.

“It’s our job to remind the American people [that] this is what they’ve tried to do,” Vance warned. “The craziness hasn’t gone away. They’ve just gotten a little better at hiding it.”

Nike can end the speculation at any time just come clean. Did they fund the study or not? The American people deserve the truth. Until then, companies that push this madness should expect to be held accountable.
