Vance Defends Cartel Strike With Blunt Message to the Left

Vice President shuts down far-left outrage over Trump’s military action, says protecting Americans comes before globalist sensitivities.

Vice President JD Vance has gone viral for doing what the Left absolutely hates telling the truth without apology. After the Trump administration's latest military strike took out members of the Tren de Aragua cartel, Vance made it clear he stands with the American people, not international criminals or woke Twitter activists.

“Killing cartel members who poison our fellow citizens is the highest and best use of our military,” Vance posted on X.

That comment set off the usual meltdown from the Left. Far-left activist Brian Krassenstein accused the U.S. of committing a “war crime” for eliminating cartel operatives in international waters but Vance wasn’t having it.

“I don’t give a s*** what you call it,” the Vice President fired back and the internet erupted. The post racked up over 1.3 million views in just hours.

Vance then followed it up with a sharp jab at the priorities of today’s Left. “Democrats: let’s send your kids to die in Russia. Republicans: actually let’s protect our people from the scum of the earth.”

The military action Vance referenced was part of a broader operation launched by President Trump against the Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan-born cartel now responsible for flooding the U.S. with fentanyl and violent crime.

This week, nearly a dozen cartel operatives were killed in a U.S. military strike in the Caribbean Sea, where they were transporting illicit drugs. The move marked a major escalation in Trump’s war against the cartels and a sharp contrast to Biden’s toothless, open-border approach.

“We’re not going to wait for them to poison our streets,” said Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “We’re going to stop them before they even get here.”

Rubio added that past strategies of "interdiction" have failed because the cartels build in drug losses as part of their business model. The only solution?

“What will stop them is when you blow them up,” Rubio said. “You get rid of them.”

Let’s not forget how we got here. Since Joe Biden took office:

  • Over 110,000 Americans have died from drug overdoses each year a majority tied to fentanyl, which cartels push across an unguarded southern border.

  • U.S. Customs and Border Protection has seized over 40,000 pounds of fentanyl enough to kill the entire population several times over.

  • Countless more pounds slipped through undetected, ending up in schools, homes, and small-town communities from coast to coast.

Instead of fighting back, Biden’s DOJ has targeted pro-life Americans, parents at school board meetings, and traditional Catholics, while letting cartel networks expand and flourish.

That’s why Vance’s no-nonsense stance resonates so strongly because Americans are done being lectured by elites who have no skin in the game.

When CBS’s Margaret Brennan tried to downplay the threat of foreign terrorists earlier this year, Vance cut her off with another viral line. “I don’t really care, Margaret.”

The Left can’t handle it but America is listening.

Trump and Vance are reminding the country that national security starts with securing our people from foreign enemies, whether they wear uniforms or push poison in backpacks.
