Turkey Cuts Ties With Israel as Erdogan Doubles Down on Pro-Hamas Agenda
Islamist regime halts trade, blocks Israeli ships and planes, and embraces terrorists while preaching genocide rhetoric at the UN.

In yet another move exposing its radical Islamist shift, Turkey has officially severed commercial ties with Israel, escalating its long-standing hostility and reaffirming its unwavering support for the terrorist group Hamas.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan announced on Friday that Israeli ships are now barred from Turkish ports, Turkish vessels are banned from docking in Israel, and Israeli aircraft are no longer permitted to enter Turkish airspace.
“We have totally cut our trade with Israel,” Fidan said. “We are not allowing container ships carrying weapons and ammunition to Israel to enter our ports, and airplanes to go into our airspace.”
This isn’t diplomacy it’s blatant alignment with terror.
Under the hardline Islamist regime of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkey has gone from a once-valuable NATO ally to a loud, unapologetic advocate for Hamas, even in the wake of the October 7, 2023 massacre, in which more than 1,200 Israelis were slaughtered by Hamas terrorists.
Sixteen days after that bloodbath, Erdogan shamelessly defended Hamas, declaring:
“Hamas is not a terrorist organization … [but rather] a liberation group, ‘mujahideen’ waging a battle to protect its lands and people.”
This is who Erdogan stands with: the same monsters who butchered Jewish children, raped women, and filmed the carnage.
And this isn’t new. Erdogan’s love affair with Hamas dates back to 2006, when he opened the door for the group’s leadership and began shaping Turkish policy around Islamist extremism. His hate for Israel has only grown more venomous over time:
In March 2025, Erdogan raged: “May Allah bring destruction and ruin upon Zionist Israel.”
At the United Nations, he compared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to Adolf Hitler.
In June 2025, he took it a step further, declaring, “Netanyahu has surpassed Hitler in terms of genocide.”
Meanwhile, Turkey’s own record is a horror story. As Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz pointed out:
“Erdogan, who commits genocide against the Kurds, who holds a world record for imprisoning journalists… is the last person who can preach morality to us.”
Let’s not forget that Erdogan is the same dictator who blocked Instagram for 57 million Turks but left his own account untouched, continuing to spread propaganda while silencing his people.
This isn’t about trade. It’s not even about Israel. It’s about a tyrant who embraces terrorists, crushes dissent, and dreams of resurrecting the Ottoman Caliphate, while masquerading as a defender of human rights.
The United States and its allies must stop pretending Turkey is a neutral player. It’s time to confront the fact that a NATO member state is openly siding with genocidal terror groups and working to isolate the Middle East’s only true democracy.
Erdogan’s regime doesn’t want peace. It wants submission.
