Trump Plans Massive Weapons Deal With Europe to Arm Ukraine

President Trump ups pressure on Russia, signals hard deadlines, and turns U.S. weapons into leverage for peace through strength.

President Donald Trump is once again proving that peace is only possible through strength and this time, he’s bringing Europe to the table. On Monday, Trump laid the groundwork for a bold plan: selling American weapons to European allies for transfer to Ukraine, sending a clear message to Moscow that the days of unchecked aggression are over.

While left-wing media outlets attempted to twist Trump’s conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky claiming he encouraged attacks deep inside Russia the Trump White House firmly denied it, clarifying that Trump was asking critical strategic questions to end the bloodshed. As Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “President Trump was merely asking a question, not encouraging further killing. He’s working tirelessly to stop the killing and end this war.”

This latest move follows a high-level meeting in the Oval Office between Trump and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, where Trump made one thing clear: Russia has 90 days to strike a peace deal or face massive economic retaliation.

“Very severe tariffs… about 100%,” Trump warned. “You’d call them secondary tariffs.”

These secondary tariffs, according to a senior White House official, are aimed at cutting off the flow of cash from countries still buying Russian oil, effectively tightening the screws on Putin’s war machine.

Trump isn’t stopping at sanctions. He’s coordinating with NATO allies to flood Ukraine with the military resources it needs, including Patriot missile systems and broader defense agreements that could shift the balance in the conflict.

  • $50+ billion in U.S. weapons aid has already flowed into Ukraine under Trump’s leadership, but this new plan puts the onus on Europe to step up while still leveraging American firepower.

  • Germany, Norway, and the U.S. are all preparing additional Patriot systems to defend Ukraine’s skies.

  • Ukraine, under Trump’s strategy, will receive a “full complement” of weapons, according to U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker.

Zelensky praised Trump’s support, saying, “Peace is only possible through strength… Russia must be forced.” That message aligns perfectly with Trump’s long-standing stance that Putin only respects power, not platitudes a lesson lost on Clinton, Obama, and Biden.

“He fooled Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden he didn’t fool me,” Trump said, reinforcing what many Americans already know: only Trump has the backbone to stand up to Putin.

Unlike the Biden administration, which has treated Ukraine like a PR prop and dragged its feet on defense aid, Trump is taking a hard-nosed, dealmaker’s approach arming allies, cutting economic lifelines to adversaries, and setting deadlines for diplomacy backed by muscle.

Europe, once hesitant, is now rising to the occasion under Trump’s leadership. “The level of esprit de corps they have is amazing,” Trump noted. That renewed resolve may finally lead to an end to this grinding war on terms that protect American interests, deter future aggression, and restore global stability.

Don’t let the media twist the facts Trump isn’t escalating war, he’s ending it with clarity, leverage, and strength.
