Trump Warns Iran Will Be Held Responsible for Any Future Houthi Attacks
Strong leadership returns as Trump draws red line, promising consequences for Iranian-backed aggression.

President Donald Trump sent a clear and powerful message to Iran on Monday any attack by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorists in Yemen will be seen as an attack directly orchestrated by Iran and the consequences will be severe.
Following reports that the U.S. used B-2 stealth bombers to strike hardened underground weapons facilities used by the Houthis, Trump took to Truth Social to issue his warning "Let nobody be fooled! The hundreds of attacks being made by Houthi, the sinister mobsters and thugs based in Yemen, all emanate from, and are created by, IRAN. Any further attack or retaliation by the Houthis will be met with great force, and there is no guarantee that that force will stop there."
Trump made it crystal clear that Iran's hands are all over these acts of terror:
Iran supplies the Houthis with weapons, money, military equipment, and intelligence.
Over 100 attacks have been launched at U.S. ships and commercial vessels in the past year alone.
Ships haven’t been able to safely pass through the Red Sea or Gulf of Aden in over a year.
"Every shot fired by the Houthis will be looked upon, from this point forward, as being a shot fired from the weapons and leadership of IRAN, and IRAN will be held responsible, and suffer the consequences, and those consequences will be dire!" Trump declared.
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth reinforced Trump’s hardline stance, stating that the U.S. military would continue its offensive until the Houthis cease their attacks entirely. Speaking on Fox News, Hegseth emphasized:
President Trump’s administration inherited four years of Biden’s weak, deferred policy that allowed Houthi aggression to escalate unchecked.
In the past four months alone, U.S. ships sent through the Red Sea were attacked 17 times.
Freedom of navigation a core national interest will be fully restored.
"President Trump has said, we will restore that and we will be unrelenting," Hegseth affirmed.
Once again, Trump is showing the world that America will not tolerate foreign terror proxies threatening U.S. interests or global trade routes. No more ambiguity, no more appeasement the line has been drawn.
