Trump-Vance Campaign to ‘Barnstorm’ Key States While DNC Takes Place
The GOP ticket takes its message directly to voters, bypassing the media frenzy in Chicago.
As the Democrats gather in Chicago for their national convention, former President Donald Trump and his running mate, Senator JD Vance, have announced a robust campaign blitz through key battleground states. While the Democratic Party will be mired in celebrity appearances and polished speeches, the Trump-Vance team will be on the ground, addressing the real issues Americans face.
The campaign released a schedule on Sunday outlining their plan to “barnstorm” these critical states, exposing the disastrous record of Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee. From Monday to Friday, Trump and Vance will lead events in cities that matter most in the upcoming election.
Monday: Trump kicks off with a focus on the economy and energy in York, Pennsylvania, while Vance mirrors this theme in Philadelphia.
Tuesday: Crime and safety take center stage, with Trump in Detroit and Vance in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Wednesday: The duo reunites for a national security event in Asheboro, North Carolina.
Thursday: Immigration comes under scrutiny, with Trump hosting an event in Montezuma Pass, Arizona, and Vance in Valdosta, Georgia.
Friday: Trump concludes the week with a rally in Glendale, Arizona, followed by a “No Tax On Tips” event in Las Vegas.
In addition to these headline events, the Trump campaign has organized daily press conferences in Chicago and other events across battleground states, ensuring their message is heard loud and clear.
Trump Campaign Senior Advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles didn’t mince words, declaring that Harris will “hide behind celebrities” at the DNC because she has been a “disaster” for the nation. They criticized her for dodging the press and failing to defend her track record, which they argue is riddled with policy failures—from soaring inflation to the erosion of American energy independence.
The Trump-Vance campaign’s strategy is clear: while Democrats gather in the echo chamber of their convention, Republicans are taking their message directly to the people. By doing so, they remind voters that under Trump and Vance’s leadership, the nation can restore its economy, secure its borders, and bring back safety to communities plagued by crime.
As Biden, Harris, and the usual Democratic elites take the stage in Chicago, Trump and Vance will be out in the heart of America, speaking to the issues that matter most. It’s a stark contrast, and one that the Trump campaign hopes will resonate with voters who feel left behind by the current administration.
The Democratic National Convention may be full of speeches and promises, but the Trump-Vance campaign is betting that actions speak louder than words. As they traverse the battleground states, their message is clear: America needs strong leadership, not more empty rhetoric.
