Trump Considers Sending Tomahawk Missiles to Ukraine
The former president warns Moscow that continued aggression could trigger a serious escalation.

President Donald Trump isn’t playing games when it comes to Ukraine and he's sending a clear message to Vladimir Putin end the war or face serious consequences.
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump confirmed he’s in active communication with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has asked for more weapons to defend against ongoing Russian attacks. In response, Trump floated the possibility of delivering Tomahawk cruise missiles a powerful and precise long-range weapon that would significantly boost Ukraine’s offensive capabilities.
“If this war is not going to get settled,” Trump said, “I’m going to send them Tomahawks.”
This isn’t just empty talk. Tomahawk missiles are a major leap in firepower. These aren’t defensive scraps like the Biden administration keeps tossing around. They’re precision-guided, deep-strike tools, and Putin knows exactly what their presence in Ukraine would mean. Trump made it clear: Russia does not want that kind of heat.
While Biden has sent more than $350 billion in aid to Ukraine, much of it without proper accountability, Trump took a different route focused on diplomacy, strategic deterrence, and maintaining U.S. military readiness.
Here’s what Trump highlighted:
Tomahawk missiles are "very offensive" and "incredible" weapons that could alter the battlefield.
Ukraine also needs Patriot missile systems to defend against relentless Russian drone and missile attacks.
Trump criticized the Biden administration’s reckless aid policy, saying, “We gave them respect and some other things” not blank checks.
Trump added that before making a final decision, he might speak with Putin directly to offer one last off-ramp. “In all fairness,” he said, “I might speak to Russia about that.” But the message is clear: if Moscow won’t settle, the consequences will escalate.
This conversation comes at a critical time. Russian missile barrages just hit Kyiv, injuring at least 20 and plunging neighborhoods into darkness. A child was killed in another attack in the southeast. On top of that, Russia is now targeting Ukraine’s energy grid as winter approaches a brutal move straight from Moscow’s cold war playbook.
While Biden naps through briefings and Kamala Harris giggles on the sidelines, Trump is actively laying the groundwork for real solutions. He’s not afraid to put America’s military assets to smart use as leverage, not giveaways.
Let’s be honest: Putin is emboldened because America has been weak. Under Biden, deterrence has collapsed, NATO has floundered, and Ukraine is stuck in a war of attrition. Trump’s approach flips the script peace through strength not surrender through softness.
Unlike the current administration, Trump understands the art of the deal. The mere mention of Tomahawks might be enough to drag Putin back to the negotiating table. If not, well, he’s already been warned.
If you're tired of watching Biden fumble our foreign policy while our enemies grow stronger, it's time to pay attention. Trump isn’t just talking. He’s preparing to act with America’s strength leading the way.
