Trump Warns Military Action Against Hamas If Gaza Violence Continues

President says U.S. won’t send troops but promises terrorists will be disarmed “under our auspices”

President Donald Trump sent a clear and chilling message to Hamas on Thursday stop the violence, or be eliminated.

As reports emerge that Hamas has resumed violent crackdowns inside Gaza, executing rivals and violating the Trump-brokered ceasefire, the president warned in a Truth Social post that if the terror group doesn’t stop its attacks, there will be “no choice but to go in and kill them.”

“If Hamas continues to kill people in Gaza, which was not the Deal, we will have no choice but to go in and kill them,” Trump posted. “Thank you for your attention to this matter!”

Trump clarified shortly after that the U.S. will not be deploying troops, but made clear that regional allies would act with American backing.

“I didn’t say who will go in, but somebody will go in,” Trump told reporters. “It’s not going to be us. We won’t have to. There are people very close, very nearby that will go in. They’ll do the trick very easily, but under our auspices.”

The warning comes just days after Hamas violated key conditions of the Trump peace deal, including:

  • Refusing to disarm, despite agreeing to do so during initial negotiations.

  • Clashing with rival groups in Gaza and executing approximately 20 opposing fighters.

  • Undermining the ceasefire, which was tied to Israel pulling back troops and Hamas releasing all remaining living hostages.

According to reports, at least 10 Hamas fighters have died in the recent skirmishes. Instead of honoring the agreement, the group appears focused on reasserting control through terror and bloodshed.

Trump’s tone has shifted from cautious optimism to hardened resolve. On Tuesday, he reiterated that Hamas must disarm voluntarily or face force.

“They’re going to disarm because they said they were going to disarm,” Trump said. “And if they don’t disarm, we will disarm them.”

He added: “They know I’m not playing games.”

Meanwhile, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) echoed the warning. Admiral Brad Cooper urged Hamas to comply with what he called an “historic opportunity for peace” by fully honoring the 20-point peace plan and standing down.

Despite the threats, there are no plans to deploy U.S. forces to Israel or Gaza, according to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, who pushed back on media claims of troop mobilization.

“Reports that U.S. soldiers were being deployed to Israel were NOT true and taken out of context,” Leavitt said.

Vice President JD Vance added, “We’re not planning to put boots on the ground. What we already have is U.S. Central Command… They’re going to monitor the terms of the ceasefire.”

The Trump Doctrine is once again on full display: peace if possible, force if necessary. While the Biden administration spent years appeasing terror-linked regimes, Trump is demanding results and holding Hamas accountable. The message is simple: abide by the deal or face destruction.
