Trump Admin Eyes Third-Country Deportation for MS-13 Suspect
Leftists call him a “Maryland man” but Kilmar Abrego Garcia is an illegal alien and alleged human smuggler.

The Trump administration is weighing multiple third-country deportation options for Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an illegal alien and suspected MS-13 human smuggler, following his re-entry into the U.S. to face federal charges. Abrego Garcia, a Salvadoran national with a criminal record and suspected cartel ties, is currently being held in Tennessee and may soon be deported to either Mexico or South Sudan, according to federal officials.
But if you ask the Democrats, he’s just a misunderstood “Maryland man.”
Despite overwhelming evidence showing Abrego Garcia is not a U.S. citizen, some leftist lawmakers and Maryland officials have absurdly tried to claim him as their “constituent.” These same politicians have also pushed misleading narratives to shield him from deportation even as he faces charges of human smuggling and has a history that includes domestic violence accusations.
What’s even more disturbing is that Abrego Garcia was reportedly part of a far-left activist group that called for the abolition of ICE a group that received federal funding from the Biden administration.
Here’s what we know:
In 2022, Tennessee troopers pulled Abrego Garcia over and found nine foreign nationals crammed into a modified van none of whom spoke English or had IDs.
Bodycam footage showed officers suspecting he was “hauling these people for money.”
He was previously deported to El Salvador, but re-entered the U.S. and was arrested again.
Now, under a new Supreme Court ruling, the Trump administration can deport illegal aliens to “third countries” nations other than their homeland if their home country refuses to take them or if credible fear claims are made.
This ruling is already being put to use: Cuban and Vietnamese criminal aliens have recently been sent to South Sudan when their own governments refused to take them back. And Abrego Garcia could be next.
“We now have the legal framework to remove criminal aliens even when they claim persecution in their home country,” a senior ICE official said. “This case is exactly why that’s necessary.”
While sanctuary-state Democrats continue to coddle criminal aliens, President Trump’s administration is putting national security first. The American people are tired of watching violent offenders and cartel operatives slip through our borders and be protected by the very people elected to defend us.
Abrego Garcia’s case is just the latest flashpoint in a broken system that Trump is determined to fix with or without help from Congress. If the Salvadoran government refuses to take him, then South Sudan or Mexico may be the next best option. But one thing is certain: he doesn’t belong in Maryland, and he doesn’t belong in America.
