Trump Slams Media for Distorting Russia Summit Progress

President says no achievement will ever satisfy the corrupt press or their Democrat allies.

President Donald Trump isn’t pulling any punches after his latest diplomatic breakthrough and neither is the media. Just days after his high-stakes Alaska summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday to blast the legacy press for twisting the truth and ignoring real progress toward peace.

“It’s incredible how the Fake News violently distorts the TRUTH when it comes to me,” Trump posted. “There is NOTHING I can say or do that would lead them to write or report honestly about me.”

And he’s absolutely right.

Despite what multiple foreign policy experts are quietly admitting was a productive meeting with Putin, corporate media outlets rushed to paint the summit as reckless, dangerous, and somehow pro-Russia simply because Trump was the one leading it.

“I had a great meeting in Alaska on Biden’s stupid War, a war that should have never happened!!!” Trump wrote, calling out the Democrat administration’s complete foreign policy failure that allowed Russia to invade Ukraine in the first place.

It didn’t stop there. In a follow-up post, Trump mockingly suggested that even if he brokered a deal so one-sided it gave Kyiv control of Moscow, the media would still attack him.

“If I got Russia to give up Moscow... the Fake News, and their PARTNER, the Radical Left Democrats, would say I made a terrible mistake and a very bad deal.”

The bias is obvious. Under Biden, over $175 billion was funneled into a war with no clear objectives, no accountability, and no diplomatic effort. Trump, on the other hand, is actively negotiating ceasefires and peace agreements yet the press continues its campaign of smears and spin.

In fact, Trump reminded Americans that he’s not just focused on Ukraine. He’s working on a global scale.

“Also, they should talk about the 6 WARS, etc., I JUST STOPPED!!!”

While details of those separate deals are still emerging, one thing is clear: diplomacy is back on the table under Trump. And the same media that cheered on Biden’s blunders is desperate to distract from it.

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee once summed up the media’s anti-Trump obsession in perfect, sarcastic form. “He could personally suck the virus out of the 60,000 people... and he would be accused of pollution for messing up the ocean.”

That was four years ago. And nothing’s changed.

The media doesn’t hate Trump because he fails they hate him because he succeeds without their approval. And this time, it might just be peace not politics that wins the day.
