Trump Blasts NYC’s Mamdani as a ‘Communist Lunatic’

President Donald Trump didn’t hold back after far-left Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani secured the Democratic nomination for New York City mayor. In a fiery double-post on Truth Social, Trump ripped the self-described socialist as a “100% Communist Lunatic” and called out the Democratic Party for pushing the country toward dangerous extremes.

“It’s finally happened, the Democrats have crossed the line,” Trump wrote. “Zohran Mamdani, a 100% Communist Lunatic, has just won the Dem Primary, and is on his way to becoming Mayor.”

And Trump is right to be alarmed.

• Mamdani wants to funnel millions of taxpayer dollars into transgender surgeries and hormone treatments, even for children.

• He’s long pushed to defund the police and replace law enforcement with “community alternatives.”

• Now backed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the rest of the far-left “Squad,” Mamdani represents the most radical wing of the modern Democratic Party.

Trump also mocked Mamdani’s appearance and intellect, calling him a puppet of AOC and Chuck Schumer or, as Trump put it, “our Great Palestinian Senator, Cryin’ Chuck Schumer.” He went on to roast the entire Democratic strategy for 2028, suggesting they go full woke and nominate Rep. Jasmine Crockett for president with AOC as VP.

The former president’s warning couldn’t be clearer: this isn’t your grandfather’s Democratic Party. What we’re seeing now is a full embrace of socialism, radical gender ideology, and open hostility to American values. And it’s not just fringe voices anymore these people are winning elections and being celebrated by the Democratic elite.

Mamdani edged out scandal-ridden former Governor Andrew Cuomo in the primary, but Cuomo hasn’t ruled out a third-party run and after this upset, he just might jump back in. Either way, New York City is on the brink of putting a radical leftist in the mayor’s office who wants to turn the Big Apple into a socialist playground.

Trump’s message? Wake up, America. If this is the future Democrats want, we can’t afford to sit on the sidelines.
