Trump Slams Bad Bunny Halftime Show as Disgrace to America

President calls sexually charged performance in Spanish “one of the worst ever,” praises alternative TPUSA show.

President Donald Trump didn’t mince words after watching the Super Bowl halftime show featuring Latin trap artist Bad Bunny. Just moments after the curtain closed on the performance, Trump called it “absolutely terrible” and “a slap in the face to our country.”

Bad Bunny’s entire set was performed in Spanish and featured overtly sexual choreography that many critics including the former president say was wildly inappropriate for the family-friendly event.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, ever,” Trump said. “It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of success, creativity or excellence.”

Trump didn’t hold back on what he saw as a show that catered more to leftist political activism than American culture:

  • He blasted the performance for being in Spanish, saying “nobody understands a word this guy is saying.”

  • He condemned the sexualized dancing as “disgusting,” especially for young viewers watching across the U.S. and the world.

  • He called the show “uninspiring” and out of step with the country's booming economy and strength under his leadership.

Trump tied the performance to a broader problem in American culture, accusing the NFL and mainstream media of promoting “garbage” over greatness. “Watch,” he added, “it will get great reviews from the fake news media because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the real world.”

The president also took a jab at the NFL’s controversial new kickoff rule, calling it “ridiculous” and demanding it be replaced.

Bad Bunny, who has openly criticized Trump’s immigration policies, once again used his platform to go political. Just a week prior, while accepting a Grammy, the singer declared, “ICE out,” before launching into a left-wing diatribe about love defeating hate ignoring the crisis at the southern border that continues to endanger Americans and migrants alike.

In a bold response to the official Super Bowl halftime show, Turning Point USA hosted an alternative performance that drew millions of viewers. Their show featured unapologetically American performers like Kid Rock, Brantley Gilbert, Lee Brice, and Gabby Barrett artists who actually resonate with the values of everyday Americans.

This moment isn’t just about one show. It’s about the culture war playing out on the world’s biggest stage. The Left pushes identity politics and empty moralism. Meanwhile, patriotic Americans just want something that reflects real values, real music, and real pride in this country.
