Executive Order Trump Strips Top Democratic Law Firm Staff of Security Clearances

President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Thursday stripping security clearances from employees at Perkins Coie LLP, citing national security risks, election interference, and unethical practices linked to the Democratic Party. The executive order immediately suspends access to classified information for individuals affiliated with Perkins Coie. A White House fact sheet confirmed that the firm’s ability to access secure facilities has been revoked, and federal agencies are now prohibited from hiring Perkins Coie employees or working with contractors that engage the firm’s services.

This latest action builds on Trump’s first executive order in office, which directed Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate and expose the Biden administration’s misuse of federal agencies against political opponents. That order specifically highlighted how Biden’s Justice Department targeted parents at school board meetings, suppressed political dissent, and used law enforcement as a tool against conservatives.

Additionally, Trump has ordered the removal of security clearances for 50 former intelligence officials who falsely labeled Hunter Biden’s laptop as “Russian disinformation” to shield Joe Biden from scrutiny. The administration has banned these individuals from accessing secure government facilities.
