Trump Administration Launches Task Force to Protect Women’s Sports

In a bold and long-overdue move, President Donald Trump’s administration has created a joint task force between the Departments of Justice and Education aimed at protecting women from what officials are calling the “pernicious effects of gender ideology” in school programs and athletics. The new “Title IX Special Investigations Team” will specifically target schools and institutions allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports or use female-only spaces.

This aggressive new push comes as the administration responds to what the Education Department described as a “staggering volume” of Title IX complaints pouring in from across the country.

Julie Hartman, a spokeswoman for the Department of Education, put it bluntly:

“Under the Biden administration, Title IX was weaponized. Schools allowed male competitors to strip female athletes of their rightful accolades, threaten women’s safety, and subject them to the indignity of unfair competitions.”

The newly announced team is a powerful inter-agency coalition including:

Investigators from the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights

Attorneys from the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division

Legal staff from the Education Department’s Office of General Counsel

Privacy and protection specialists from Education’s Student Protection Office

Federal Student Aid (FSA) enforcement investigators

Their mission? Swiftly and decisively enforce Title IX as it was originally intended to protect the actual civil rights of women.

Attorney General Pam Bondi made clear that the Department of Justice is done playing defense:

“This collaborative effort will use the full power of the law to remedy any violation of women’s civil rights.”

And Education Secretary Linda McMahon didn’t hold back either, delivering a clear warning to woke institutions:

“To all the entities that continue to allow men to compete in women’s sports and use women’s intimate facilities: there’s a new sheriff in town.”

The move follows Trump’s executive orders: “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” and “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism,” part of his broader effort to dismantle radical leftist policies that have destroyed fairness in women’s sports and compromised student safety.

This isn’t about politics. It’s about reality. Basic biology. Common sense. And yes *justice*. Under Biden, Title IX protections were twisted into tools of progressive social engineering. Girls who worked their entire lives to earn athletic scholarships and break records were robbed by institutions that bent the knee to fringe ideology. But that tide is turning.

A recent Gallup poll found that 69% of Americans believe athletes should only compete on teams that match their biological sex.

At least 21 states have already passed laws banning male participation in female sports.

In Connecticut alone, two biological males won 15 women’s track titles, wiping clean the record books.

With the launch of the Special Investigations Team, the Trump administration is drawing a line in the sand: No more stolen scholarships. No more erased records. No more sacrificing our daughters’ opportunities to appease activists.
