Zelensky-Putin Meeting Set in Motion by Trump’s Push for Historic Talks

As Biden sleeps, Trump forces a breakthrough that could end the Russia-Ukraine war.

President Donald Trump is once again stepping into a global crisis and getting results that no one else can. After nearly two years of bloody conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Trump has now pushed both sides to the negotiating table, with a historic peace summit scheduled this week in Turkey.

On Sunday, Trump called out Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Truth Social, urging him to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and take a serious step toward peace:

“President Putin of Russia doesn’t want to have a Cease Fire Agreement with Ukraine, but rather wants to meet on Thursday, in Turkey, to negotiate a possible end to the BLOODBATH. Ukraine should agree to this, IMMEDIATELY,” Trump said. “At least they will be able to determine whether or not a deal is possible... HAVE THE MEETING, NOW!!!”

Shortly after Trump’s post, Zelensky publicly agreed to meet Putin in Türkiye, declaring that the time had come to stop the bloodshed:

“There is no point in prolonging the killings,” Zelensky posted. “And I will be waiting for Putin in Türkiye on Thursday. Personally.”

This massive shift comes just days after Trump hinted that a breakthrough was near, telling his Truth Social followers that a deal could save hundreds of thousands of lives and finally bring the war to an end.

Let’s be clear: this diplomatic momentum has nothing to do with the Biden administration or NATO bureaucrats. It is Trump once again leading from the front, brokering peace where globalists and warmongers have only fanned the flames.

Key developments:

  • Putin agreed to direct talks in Istanbul and hinted at a new ceasefire agreement if diplomacy progresses.

  • Western leaders threatened renewed sanctions if Russia refuses a 30-day ceasefire, increasing pressure on Putin’s regime.

  • Trump has positioned the United States as a peace broker, not a cash machine for endless war, as was the case under Biden.

This isn’t just another foreign policy success it’s a complete rebuke of the failed strategy pushed by the Biden-Harris administration. While Biden sent blank checks to Kyiv and ignored American needs at home, Trump is focusing on saving lives and restoring global order.

The American people are tired of endless conflict, skyrocketing defense spending, and globalist entanglements that don’t serve our national interest. Trump gets that. That’s why he’s prioritizing peace, rebuilding, and trade over foreign bloodshed.

This meeting in Turkey could be the first real step toward ending a war that the Biden White House never had a plan to solve. Once again, it’s Trump’s leadership that’s bringing hope and action to the world stage.
