Trump Demands Ilhan Omar Be Jailed Over Massive Minnesota Fraud

President Donald Trump isn’t mincing words. In a bold message posted Sunday night, he called out Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) for her alleged ties to a staggering $19 billion in fraud rooted in Minnesota’s Somali community. Trump declared that Omar “knows everything there is to know” about the scheme, saying bluntly “She should be in jail, or even a worse punishment.”

And he didn’t stop there. Trump reminded Americans of Omar’s long history of anti-American rhetoric and radical politics, posting:

“Fake ‘Congresswoman’ Illhan [sic] Omar, a constant complainer who hates the USA... should be in jail, or even a worse punishment, sent back to Somalia, considered one of the absolutely worst countries in the World.”

Omar, whose political rise has been marked by controversy, has frequently clashed with Trump and conservative Americans. But this time, the former president is tying her directly to a federal disaster an unprecedented wave of welfare fraud that has reportedly siphoned off billions in taxpayer funds under the watch of Minnesota’s far-left leadership.

• Federal authorities are investigating multiple welfare scams involving fraudulent childcare and food assistance programs, with more than $18 billion in funds reportedly misused.

• Trump also blasted Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, accusing him and Omar of backing violent anti-ICE protests to distract from the fraud investigations.

• In response to attacks on federal agents and property, the Trump team is considering invoking the Insurrection Act, preparing to deploy up to 1,500 active-duty troops to secure the state.

Amid the escalating unrest in Minneapolis sparked after ICE agents were confronted and a suspect was killed radical protesters have launched violent demonstrations, attacking federal vehicles and personnel. Trump didn’t hold back in his condemnation:

“The thugs that are protesting include many highly paid professional agitators and anarchists. Is this really what Minnesota wants?”

As if echoing a broken system, the Biden administration and Democrat-run states have allowed this chaos to fester. Instead of supporting law enforcement, they kneecap it. Instead of rooting out corruption, they look the other way. Instead of protecting the American taxpayer, they shield the very people siphoning off billions.

Meanwhile, programs like the Child Care Development Fund and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families are being frozen due to fraud investigations, leaving actual needy families at risk all because of corruption and mismanagement by Democrat leaders.

It’s not the first time Trump has clashed with Omar, but this time the stakes are higher. With federal funds vanishing and law enforcement under siege, Trump’s warning rings loud and clear: enough is enough.
