Barrasso Defends Trump’s Right to Use Military for Illegal Alien Deportations

Senator Barrasso backs decisive action to tackle illegal immigration and restore national security.

Senator John Barrasso (R-WY) voiced strong support for President-elect Donald Trump’s proposal to use the U.S. military to deport millions of illegal aliens, describing it as a necessary step to address the nation’s growing border crisis. Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Barrasso emphasized that Trump has both the authority and the mandate to take such action, given the dire state of national security.

Barrasso highlighted the alarming consequences of unchecked illegal immigration, painting a grim picture of the crisis:

  • Over 10 million illegal immigrants are currently in the U.S., many of whom evade detection and accountability.

  • Criminal elements, including drug cartels, murderers, and human traffickers, exploit open borders to wreak havoc on American communities.

  • The resulting toll includes rising rates of violent crime, drug overdoses, and harm to American families, with fentanyl poisoning now a leading cause of death among young adults.

Barrasso argued that these factors amount to a national security emergency, justifying the use of military resources to enforce immigration laws and restore order.

Trump’s victory in the 2024 election is a clear indication of the American public’s demand for decisive leadership on immigration. According to Barrasso, the majority of Americans support mass deportations as a way to secure the nation’s borders and restore law and order.

“When you look at the president’s magnificent victory, it’s because people are scared of the chaos caused by illegal immigration,” Barrasso stated. “People want to feel safe in their own homes.”

Despite overwhelming public support, left-wing politicians in sanctuary cities and states continue to prioritize the so-called “rights” of illegal immigrants over the safety of their constituents. Barrasso blasted these leaders for putting ideology above public safety, calling their actions “unbelievable” and “dangerous.”

The senator stressed that enforcing immigration laws is not only legal but morally imperative, especially when American lives are at stake.

As Trump prepares to take office, his administration appears ready to act boldly to deliver on its promises. Using the military for deportations is not only within the president’s authority but also a clear message that lawlessness will no longer be tolerated.

With the border crisis at a breaking point, decisive action like this may be the only way to protect American citizens and reclaim national security.
