Trump Declares GOP the Party of the American Worker This Labor Day
With skyrocketing wages, historic job growth, and pro-worker reforms, Trump says the era of globalist exploitation is over.

This Labor Day, President Donald Trump made it clear the Republican Party is no longer the party of corporate elitism it’s the party of American workers.
In a statement released over the weekend, the Trump White House celebrated a string of economic wins for middle-class families, small business owners, and skilled laborers, affirming that under his leadership, America is working again and winning again.
“President Trump is back, and so is MORE money in your pocket. Wages are SKYROCKETING, and American workers are winning BIG!” read a message shared on X.
Taylor Rogers, White House spokeswoman, emphasized the administration’s commitment to labor over lobbyists:
“President Trump believes that American workers are the heart and soul of our economy, which is why he’s championed an agenda that always puts them first.”
And the numbers speak for themselves:
Over $10 trillion in new U.S. investments have been secured since Trump returned to the White House aimed at building up domestic industries and creating high-paying jobs.
Half a million new jobs have already been created, with native-born workers accounting for 100% of the net job gains.
Wages are rising, inflation is cooling, and consumer confidence is on the rebound, after four years of Bidenomics nearly decimated the working class.
Trump’s Labor Department isn’t just focused on raw job creation. It’s committed to rebuilding a skilled American workforce from the ground up. Already, nearly 2,000 new apprenticeship programs have been registered, with the goal of hitting one million active apprenticeships in the near future.
And while the Left continues to push open borders and prioritize illegal aliens over citizens, Trump is shutting that door firmly.
“Illegal immigrants are not allowed access to federal workforce development resources and related grants,” the White House said, making clear that job training and career opportunities belong to American citizens first, including disabled veterans who have been prioritized in expanded training programs.
This renewed focus on labor has been made possible by key policy changes:
The passage of Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill”, a sweeping pro-growth, pro-worker legislative win that cut red tape and unlocked new job creation.
The removal of 63 burdensome federal regulations, giving small businesses breathing room and encouraging investment.
Trade policy reforms that reoriented global commerce around American interests, ending decades of job-killing deals that shipped factories overseas.
In short, Trump has brought working-class conservatism back to life, replacing the old GOP playbook of corporate favoritism with a blue-collar, America First economic agenda.
Under Joe Biden, it was illegal immigrants getting job training, D.C. bureaucrats drowning businesses in red tape, and union bosses playing footsie with globalists. Under Trump, it’s wages, jobs, and training for Americans period.
This Labor Day, Trump didn’t just celebrate workers he reminded them who’s really fighting for them. And the message couldn’t be clearer: the Republican Party, under his leadership, is the party of the American worker once again.
