Trump to Sign Historic Bill on July 4 With Flyover of U.S. Warplanes
B-2s, F-22s, and F-35s to soar over White House as Trump signs sweeping “Big, Beautiful Bill” into law.

President Donald Trump is set to mark Independence Day with more than just fireworks he’s planning a stunning military flyover as he signs the historic “One Big, Beautiful Bill” into law. The July 4 signing ceremony, slated for 5 p.m. ET, will feature B-2 bombers, F-22 Raptors, and F-35 stealth fighters flying over the White House in a celebration of American strength and legislative victory.
“It’s going to be a great day,” Trump told reporters Thursday. “We’ll be signing with those beautiful planes flying right over our heads.”
The dramatic setting underscores the magnitude of the bill itself a sweeping $3.3 trillion legislative package that cements Trump’s economic, national security, and immigration agenda heading into his second term. After securing final passage in the House with a narrow 218-214 vote Thursday afternoon, the president made clear this is more than just a policy win. It’s a declaration of the new American era.
“We covered just about everything,” Trump said. “Biggest tax cut in history, great for security, great on the southern border, immigration is covered. Again, it’s the biggest bill ever signed of its kind.”
Here’s what’s in the bill:
Permanently extends Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, lowering rates for working Americans.
Slashes federal bureaucracy and eliminates Biden-era green energy tax credits.
Injects billions into border security, national defense, and ICE enforcement.
Raises the debt ceiling by $5 trillion to prevent default and fuel long-term growth.
Expands work requirements for Medicaid and food assistance, ensuring welfare serves the truly needy.
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who orchestrated the final vote push alongside Trump, hailed the moment as a turning point for the nation: “Today we are laying a key cornerstone of America’s new Golden Age.”
The legislation faced relentless obstruction from Democrats, with Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) filibustering for over eight hours in a futile attempt to delay the inevitable. But Republicans held the line, and the bill now heads to Trump’s desk just in time for his July 4 deadline.
The signing comes just days after Trump’s successful missile strike campaign dismantled Iran’s nuclear sites, restoring U.S. deterrence in the Middle East. It’s all part of a cascade of wins that show America is back under firm leadership.
With jets overhead, pens on paper, and patriots cheering, July 4 won’t just mark our nation’s birthday it will mark a new chapter in its resurgence.
