Trump Warns Iran of Devastating Strikes Over Nuclear Enrichment

After crippling Tehran’s nuclear program, Trump vows to act swiftly if uranium enrichment escalates.

President Donald Trump made it crystal clear Friday: if Iran resumes high-level uranium enrichment, U.S. military strikes will follow. At a White House press briefing, Trump declared he would “absolutely” authorize bombing Iran again if intelligence confirms the regime is moving toward weapons-grade nuclear material.

“Sure, without question, absolutely,” Trump responded to a direct question on potential military action. He praised previous U.S. operations that shattered Iran’s nuclear infrastructure, citing precision Tomahawk missile strikes and 30,000-pound “bunker buster” bombs dropped by stealth B-2 bombers.

The threat isn't idle talk. Just months ago, Trump brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Iran after a ferocious 12-day campaign that nearly gutted Tehran’s nuclear and military capacity.

Operation Rising Lion in brief:

  • The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed Iran’s uranium was enriched to 60% purity by February alarming close to the 90% required for nuclear weapons.

  • Israeli and U.S. intelligence estimated Iran was within “days or weeks” of nuclear capability.

  • Israel destroyed facilities in Natanz, Isfahan, and Arak, targeting enrichment plants, conversion sites, and heavy water reactors.

  • The U.S. played a crucial role, using deep-penetration bunker busters to damage Iran’s Fordo facility something Israel’s air force couldn’t accomplish alone.

  • Iran’s retaliatory strike of 19 missiles on Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar was intercepted, causing negligible damage thanks to advance notice given to the U.S.

Trump, in a post on Truth Social, even thanked Iran for the early warning: “No lives were lost, and nobody was injured.”

Still, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, is spinning a fantasy narrative. On Thursday, he declared “victory” over the U.S., falsely claiming that Iran “destroyed” Al Udeid Air Base. Trump responded bluntly: “You got beat to hell.”

This is the sharp, no-nonsense leadership Americans came to expect under Trump a far cry from the days of Obama’s weak-kneed diplomacy or Biden’s chaotic foreign policy blunders. Trump doesn’t wait for enemies to cross red lines he defines them and enforces them with precision.

With Trump back in charge, America’s enemies know the rules: pursue nukes, face firepower.
