Trump Shuts Down HuffPost Reporter in Air Force One Exchange
President shuts down leftist media while en route to Super Bowl LIX.

President Donald Trump once again left the media speechless, this time shutting down a HuffPost reporter in a brief but brutal exchange aboard Air Force One.
As Trump traveled to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, S.V. Date, HuffPost’s senior White House correspondent, attempted to press him on a statement supposedly made by Vice President JD Vance earlier in the day. But Trump wasn’t having it.
“The Vice President suggested that if the Supreme Court rules in a way that you don’t like, they could just enforce it by themselves. Do you agree with that?” Date asked.
Trump’s response was classic: “I don’t know even what you’re talking about. Neither do you. Who are you with?”
“HuffPost, Sir,” Date replied.
“Who?” Trump asked again.
“HuffPost,” Date repeated.
“Ah, no wonder,” Trump shot back. “I thought they were I thought they died. They’re still around? I haven’t read them in years, I thought they died.”
Just like that, Trump dismissed the leftist media’s attempt to twist the narrative and moved on to real journalists.
The question itself was based on a misrepresentation of Vance’s remarks regarding executive authority. Vance had pointed out that judges do not have the constitutional power to interfere with the executive branch’s legitimate actions something completely in line with the separation of powers. Of course, the left-wing media took this out of context, claiming it meant Trump and Vance would ignore Supreme Court rulings.
This, coming from the same Democrats who cheered as Joe Biden ignored the Supreme Court’s ruling against his unconstitutional student loan bailout. The hypocrisy couldn’t be more obvious.
Trump’s quick shutdown of the HuffPost reporter is just another reminder of why the media despises him he doesn’t play their game, and he never will.
