Hamas Accepts Trump Peace Plan Ending Gaza War

Two years after the October 7 massacre, Trump brokers historic deal to bring hostages home and stop the bloodshed.

In a stunning turn of events, Hamas has accepted a peace plan orchestrated by President Donald Trump, effectively ending two years of devastating war in Gaza. The agreement, which includes the return of all Israeli hostages and a full IDF withdrawal from the region, marks the most significant diplomatic breakthrough in the Middle East in over a decade and it happened under Trump’s watch.

Trump announced the deal on Truth Social, writing, “This means that ALL of the Hostages will be released very soon, and Israel will withdraw their Troops to an agreed upon line as the first steps toward a Strong, Durable, and Everlasting Peace.” He thanked the mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and Turkey for their role in making the deal happen, calling it a “GREAT Day for the Arab and Muslim World, Israel, all surrounding Nations, and the United States of America.”

After months of failed diplomacy under Joe Biden, it was Trump who finally brought both sides to the table and to an agreement. The results speak for themselves:

  • All 48 hostages, including both the living and deceased, are to be returned within 72 hours.

  • Israel will withdraw from the Gaza Strip under a phased process tied to compliance with the peace terms.

  • Hamas agreed to disarm and surrender its remaining fighters in exchange for limited amnesty and humanitarian aid.

  • A new technocratic Palestinian administration will be put in charge of running day-to-day operations in Gaza not Hamas.

This historic deal comes two years after Hamas terrorists slaughtered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7, 2023 the deadliest day for Jews since the Holocaust. Since then, over 30,000 have died in the conflict, and Hamas has held dozens of civilians hostage, including Americans.

What did the Biden administration achieve in two years? Nothing. The war dragged on, hostages remained captive, and the humanitarian crisis in Gaza exploded. Meanwhile, Biden sent billions in foreign aid and couldn't even get Hamas to sit at the table.

Trump did it in weeks.

In images from the negotiation table in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egyptian and Qatari leaders were seen embracing Israeli and Hamas representatives. Even Hamas leaders appeared to be smiling, clearly recognizing that Trump’s deal offers them the only path forward or else.

According to Israeli sources, the following are included in the agreement:

  • Israel will release over 1,900 Palestinian prisoners, including 250 serving life sentences.

  • Reconstruction of Gaza will begin under the oversight of a Trump-led international "Board of Peace", with former British PM Tony Blair expected to co-chair.

  • All parties agreed to no annexation, no forced displacement, and a mutual ceasefire backed by international guarantors.

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu praised Trump’s role, stating, “Thanks to the courage and sacrifice of our IDF soldiers and the leadership of President Trump, we’ve reached this historic day. With God's help, we will bring them all home.”

Hamas, in their own statement, thanked Trump directly and urged him and the guarantor states to ensure Israel holds to the deal. For a terror group that once chanted "Death to America," the irony is rich but it proves that strength commands respect, and peace follows only when America leads with authority.

Let’s not forget, this deal only came together because Trump gave Israel the green light to act decisively if Hamas refused. He didn’t dither. He didn’t appease. He gave Hamas a choice: make peace or face destruction. They chose peace.

Compare that to Joe Biden, who spent his time pressuring Israel to “show restraint” while American citizens rotted in tunnels. Under Biden’s leadership, the U.S. projected weakness, and chaos followed. Under Trump, peace became reality.

The families of the hostages released a statement thanking Trump “for the leadership and determination that led to this historic breakthrough.” Israel’s Defense Minister, IDF commanders, and even Israeli media are crediting Trump for what they’re calling “a blessing.”

Now, for the first time in years, there's real hope for Gaza’s future. Trump’s plan not only ends the war it lays the groundwork for economic revitalization, security, and long-term stability in a region where none existed.

This is what American leadership looks like.
