Trump Issues Final Warning to Hamas Over Remaining Hostages

President demands terrorist group release captives or face consequences, says “there will not be another warning.”

President Donald Trump delivered a stern and uncompromising message to the terrorist group Hamas over the weekend release the remaining hostages now or face the consequences.

In a Truth Social post that has since made international headlines, Trump declared that Hamas has one last opportunity to accept his terms and release the estimated 20 hostages still believed to be held in the Gaza Strip.

“Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one!” Trump wrote.

While Trump did not disclose the specific consequences Hamas would face, the message was unmistakable time is running out.

“This Is My Last Warning” the warning comes after Trump confirmed that some of the remaining hostages may have already been murdered. Speaking from the Oval Office on Friday, Trump said that roughly 20 hostages are still believed to be alive, but that the situation remains fluid.

“It’s 20 people, but I think of the 20 there could be some that have recently died is what I’m hearing. I hope that’s wrong,” Trump said.

Trump added that negotiating the final release would be “difficult” and would likely require “capitulation” something he has repeatedly said America should never do when dealing with terrorists.

“When you get down to the final 10 or 20, you’re not gonna get them out unless you’re gonna do a lot and doing a lot means capitulation,” Trump explained.

But instead of giving in, the president appears to be drawing a clear red line: release the hostages or prepare to face the full force of the United States.

The hostage crisis dates back to October 7, 2023, when Hamas launched a savage surprise attack on Israeli civilians, killing over 1,200 people and abducting dozens more including Americans. Since then, the war in Gaza has dragged on, and while many hostages have been released, around 20 are still missing their condition unknown.

Last week, Hamas released video footage showing two of the remaining hostages including Guy Gilboa-Dalal, who appeared gaunt and frail as he begged for help. The footage enraged the Israeli public and renewed global calls for Hamas to end its hostage-taking.

In response, Israel has intensified its military operations, with IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee warning Gaza residents to evacuate targeted areas where Hamas infrastructure is embedded.

“The Defense Army will attack the building soon due to the presence of Hamas terrorist infrastructure inside or near it,” Adraee posted on X. “For your safety, you are required to evacuate immediately.”

Trump’s blunt warning to Hamas is consistent with his America First foreign policy strength, not appeasement. Under his leadership, terrorists were eliminated, Iran was isolated, and the Abraham Accords began reshaping the Middle East.

Compare that to the Biden administration’s weak posture and endless diplomacy with no results. Under Biden:

  • Iran-backed militias have surged in strength, emboldening groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

  • Billions in aid have flowed to regimes that fund terrorism.

  • And the hostage crisis has dragged on for nearly two years with no resolution in sight.

Trump’s message is clear: America will no longer tolerate weakness and terrorist groups that take innocent lives and hold Americans hostage will pay a steep price.

As Trump continues laying the groundwork for a second term, one thing is certain: under his leadership, there are no more empty warnings just action.
