Trump Slams Epstein Case As ‘Democrat HOAX’ While DOJ Interviews Ghislaine Maxwell

President Donald Trump dismissed renewed attention on the Jeffrey Epstein case as a “Democrat CON JOB” Thursday, blasting what he called a coordinated effort by the Left to distract from his administration’s successes. The comments came as the Department of Justice began interviewing Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence.

“The Radical Left Democrats are doing everything in their power to distract and obfuscate from our GREAT six months of service to America, results of which many are saying is the BEST six months in Presidential history,” Trump posted to Truth Social. “They have gone absolutely CRAZY, and are playing another Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax but, this time, under the guise of what we will call the Jeffrey Epstein SCAM.”

Trump called for the release of Epstein-related grand jury files, stating, “Hopefully, the Grand Jury Files will put an end to this HOAX. Everyone should see what is there, but people who are innocent should not be hurt. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed that he met with Ghislaine Maxwell on Thursday, with additional interviews scheduled for Friday. “The Department of Justice will share additional information about what we learned at the appropriate time,” Blanche posted.

Maxwell’s attorney said she has agreed to “testify truthfully” as the DOJ continues its probe into Epstein’s extensive network of associates. Her cooperation could shed new light on previously sealed evidence and flight logs that have fueled speculation and political controversy.

The renewed focus on Epstein’s case has drawn fire from both parties. While Republicans have accused Democrats of ignoring Epstein’s crimes for years, left-wing lawmakers are now pushing for full transparency on the billionaire sex offender’s connections. Trump, however, sees the renewed scrutiny as politically motivated.

“This is yet another Democrat CON JOB,” Trump wrote. “As things are revealed, you will see that it is just another distraction another Russia hoax meant to stop our agenda and take down the MAGA movement.”

The Epstein controversy has resurfaced at a time when Trump is highlighting his administration’s economic and foreign policy achievements, calling his current term “the BEST six months in Presidential history” due to job creation, reduced inflation, and new trade victories.

Whether Maxwell’s testimony will alter the narrative remains to be seen, but Trump appears determined to counter what he views as politically driven attacks.
