Trump Drops Economic Truth Bombs in National Address

Former president torches Biden’s inflation record, highlights rapid savings under MAGA policies.

In a primetime address that pulled no punches, President Donald Trump laid out a blistering economic indictment of Joe Biden’s failed presidency, delivering hard numbers and stark comparisons that left no doubt: America is better off under Trump.

“When I took office, inflation was the worst in 48 years,” Trump said. “Some would say in the history of our country. This happened during a Democrat administration and it’s when we first began hearing the word ‘affordability.’”

The former president wasted no time calling out the Biden-induced economic catastrophe, blaming the last administration and its Democrat allies in Congress for flooding the economy with trillions in reckless spending and fueling the worst inflation crisis in decades.

Now, Trump says he’s cleaning up the mess and the numbers back him up:

  • Thanksgiving turkey prices down 33% compared to Biden’s last year in office.

  • Egg prices have dropped a staggering 82% since March.

  • Gasoline prices, car prices, hotel rates, and airfares all surged under Biden are now falling rapidly under Trump’s leadership.

“The last administration looted our Treasury for trillions of dollars, driving up prices at levels never seen before,” Trump declared. “I am bringing those high prices down, and bringing them down very fast.”

While Biden Democrats desperately cling to the word "affordability" in their latest campaign messaging, Trump reminded Americans who actually made life unaffordable in the first place.

  • Under Biden: Car prices soared by 22%, gas prices skyrocketed by as much as 50%, and mortgage costs rose by over $15,000.

  • Under Trump: Real wages are rising faster than inflation, and factory, construction, and mining workers are all seeing gains $1,300, $1,800, and $3,300 respectively.

“Nobody can believe what’s going on,” Trump said. “But boy, are we making progress.”

And in a patriotic twist that sent social media buzzing, Trump unveiled “Warrior Dividends” a $1,776 check being issued to every U.S. service member in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of America's founding.

“We are sending every soldier $1,776. Think of that,” Trump said. “And the checks are already on the way.”

While Biden and the Democrats keep gaslighting Americans into thinking they’ve fixed the economy they destroyed, Trump is proving that bold leadership, common sense, and unapologetic America-first policies deliver results. The contrast could not be clearer.

Inflation down. Wages up. Grocery prices falling. Energy costs cooling. And America’s warriors getting rewarded not ignored.
