Trump Lowers Drug Prices With Executive Order Targeting Big Pharma Abuse
President Trump delivers on his promise to put working Americans not global corporations first in the fight for affordable medicine.

President Donald Trump just did what no other president had the courage to do: he went to war with Big Pharma and global freeloaders and he did it on behalf of working Americans.
This week, Trump signed a game-changing Executive Order that finally puts an end to the long-standing scam where U.S. families pay up to 78% more for prescription drugs than patients in other advanced countries. The new order prioritizes American citizens, particularly the Hispanic community, seniors, and the working class the very groups hit hardest by outrageous out-of-pocket medical costs.
According to the CDC:
Nearly 1 in 4 Hispanic adults in America skip medications due to cost.
Compare that to just 13% of non-Hispanic White adults, and the inequity is crystal clear.
Under Biden, Medicare still overpays for medications compared to 11 peer nations.
Trump’s Executive Order ends this injustice by:
Implementing “most-favored-nation” pricing, ensuring Americans pay no more than what other countries pay.
Eliminating middlemen who drive up prices without adding value.
Empowering HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to enforce price standards and take aggressive action when drug companies refuse to comply.
Let’s be honest the American taxpayer has been footing the bill for socialized healthcare systems overseas, subsidizing cheap drugs for foreign citizens while getting gouged at the pharmacy. That stops now.
Trump’s move is particularly critical for patients with chronic conditions diabetes, asthma, hypertension who’ve too often had to choose between groceries and insulin. No American should ever face that decision. And under this policy, they won’t.
This is a continuation of the America First healthcare agenda that began during Trump’s first term:
Transparency in hospital pricing.
Faster approval for generics and biosimilars.
Expanded drug importation programs.
Medicare reforms blocked by Biden now being reinstated.
Make no mistake Biden and Kamala Harris had a chance to make good on lowering drug prices. Instead, they rescinded Trump’s Medicare reforms and watched as Big Pharma’s profits soared. The result? American seniors and taxpayers got the raw end of the deal again.
Now, Trump is back and finishing the job. And it’s working.
Thanks to the Executive Order, the U.S. Trade Representative and Secretary of Commerce are now cracking down on foreign freeloaders who have been taking advantage of American generosity for decades. The message is simple: we will not be the world's piggy bank anymore.
This is real leadership. While career politicians deliver speeches and excuses, Trump delivers results. And he's doing it in plain sight, with bold action that benefits the very people most overlooked by Washington elites.
It’s a long-overdue reckoning for the pharmaceutical industry. And it’s a massive victory for American patients, especially those who’ve been ignored by Democrats in favor of globalism and corporate lobbying.
Trump’s order doesn’t just save money it saves lives.
