Murderers and Rapists Deported to South Sudan Under Trump, Legal Battle Could Bring Them Back

The Trump administration just did what the Biden White House never had the spine to do remove violent, criminal illegal aliens from U.S. soil. But now, a Massachusetts-based federal judge appears poised to unravel it all.

On Wednesday, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) revealed that it successfully deported eight of the most heinous criminal illegals to South Sudan the only nation willing to accept them, as even their own home countries wanted nothing to do with them.

These weren’t minor offenders. They weren’t just “undocumented immigrants” looking for opportunity. These were individuals convicted of:

• Murder and first-degree homicide

• Kidnapping, armed robbery, and battery

• Sexual assault, including acts against children under 12

• Drug trafficking and possession of defaced firearms

Among them was Enrique Arias-Hierro, a Cuban national with convictions for homicide and kidnapping. His criminal resume would rival that of a cartel enforcer. Or take Kyaw Mya, a Burmese national, convicted of committing sexual acts with a child. These are monsters not migrants.

ICE officials didn’t mince words. “No country on earth wanted to accept them because their crimes are so uniquely monstrous,” said Tricia McLaughlin, Assistant Secretary of Public Affairs at DHS. South Sudan, ironically, stepped up and agreed to take them in.

But enter U.S. District Judge Brian Murphy, a Massachusetts-based federal judge, who’s trying to block the deportation from becoming permanent. His demand? That the Trump administration retain custody and remain ready to return these criminals back to the U.S. should the court decide their deportation was somehow “unlawful.”

That’s right. A judge in a blue state thinks the rights of convicted killers and pedophiles outweigh the rights of law-abiding American citizens to live in peace.

Let’s not pretend this is an isolated incident. It’s part of a broader pattern:

• In 2020, Judge James Boasberg whose wife is tied to Democrat causes and an abortion clinic blocked deportations of known gang members.

• Another judge, Indira Talwani, stopped the removal of over 500,000 migrants protected under a flimsy "temporary" status, despite her partisan donations and campaign work for Obama and Warren.

It’s become clear: unelected, liberal judges are trying to override our immigration laws and hamstring any effort to make America safe again.

Meanwhile, under Biden’s DHS, border encounters have topped 2.4 million annually, and deportations of criminal aliens have plummeted by over 70%. The contrast is stark President Trump is taking out the trash while the Left wants to welcome it back in.

This isn’t just about immigration. It’s about sovereignty, law and order, and the safety of American families. If Democrats and their activist judges have their way, no one not even violent predators will ever have to leave our country.
