Republicans Celebrate 50 Wins in Trump’s Big Beautiful Bill

From tax cuts to border security, GOP lawmakers say the landmark legislation sets the stage for a new American golden age.

Republicans in the House are celebrating what they’re calling a historic legislative triumph with the passage of President Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” a sweeping package packed with conservative victories that GOP leaders say will fuel a “new American golden age.”

The Republican Study Committee (RSC), the largest conservative caucus in Congress, released a list Thursday highlighting 50 policy wins embedded in the bill, which passed the House in a razor-thin 215-214 vote. Every Democrat voted against it.

Among the most significant achievements:

  • A $5,000 tax cut for American families, putting money back into the pockets of hardworking Americans.

  • Repeal of Biden-era electric vehicle mandates, stopping the forced transition to costly, government-subsidized EVs.

  • Reversal of a radical Medicare rule that covered so-called "gender transition" procedures for minors.

  • $46 billion to finish Trump’s border wall, with hiring allocations for 10,000 new ICE agents, 5,000 customs officers, and 3,000 Border Patrol agents.

  • $150 billion in new military funding, modernizing our nuclear deterrent and improving conditions for active-duty servicemembers.

RSC Chairman Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) praised the package as a once-in-a-generation reset.

“From slashing taxes by $5,000 per family and securing our border, to unleashing American energy and rebuilding our military, these fifty wins demonstrate that House Republicans are not just keeping promises but fundamentally restoring American greatness,” Pfluger said.

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) echoed the sentiment after the bill passed, highlighting the resolve it took to bring such a massive package to the floor and secure victory.

“The media has tried to divide us. They’ve written our eulogy about 10 times,” Johnson said. “Sometimes it’s good to be underestimated, isn’t it? But we got this done.”

Indeed, the bill delivers major wins across key conservative priorities:

  • Energy independence by repealing green subsidies and unleashing oil, gas, and nuclear development.

  • Parental rights by blocking federal funds for gender ideology in schools and healthcare.

  • Election integrity measures, including mandatory voter ID for federal elections and restrictions on ballot harvesting.

And it doesn’t stop there. The legislation includes measures to defund DEI initiatives in federal agencies, end sanctuary city grants, and expand school choice for low-income families.

Trump called the bill a “blueprint for a new American century,” urging the Senate to pass it swiftly and pledging to sign it immediately upon its arrival on his desk.

As Biden continues to preside over skyrocketing inflation, border chaos, and a military in decline, House Republicans are offering a serious, America-first alternative one built on prosperity, security, and freedom.

This bill isn’t just policy. It’s a declaration that the days of progressive dominance are over, and a conservative renaissance is here.
