Donald Trump Bans Men from Women’s Sports in Landmark Executive Order

Standing with female athletes, Trump puts an end to gender activists’ war on women’s sports.

In a defining moment for women’s sports, President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Wednesday prohibiting men from competing in female athletic divisions. Surrounded by young female athletes and advocates at the White House, Trump declared, "The war on women’s sports is over." The order reverses years of policies that allowed biological males to dominate women’s competitions, undermining fairness, safety, and opportunity.

The East Room was filled with female athletes, parents, and supporters as Trump signed the historic order. Among those in attendance were Riley Gaines, Paula Scanlon, Sage Steele, and leaders from Independent Women’s Forum and Concerned Women for America.

“If we have to worry about them, we have a bigger problem,” Trump joked to his Secret Service agents as a crowd of school-aged girls rushed to his side for the signing. “What a nice picture this is!”

As he carefully signed the order, he quipped, “We have a 10!” a nod to his signature, met with laughs from the children watching.

The executive order states:

“It is the policy of the United States to rescind all funds from educational programs that deprive women and girls of fair athletic opportunities, which results in the endangerment, humiliation, and silencing of women and girls and deprives them of privacy.”

It further directs the federal government to oppose male participation in female sports as “a matter of safety, fairness, dignity, and truth.”

Riley Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer who was forced to compete against a male athlete, expressed her gratitude outside the White House.

“For three years, the Biden administration stonewalled women across the country. Not even just stonewalled us he actively worked against us. So to now have a president who displayed such moral clarity, and leadership with this decisive action… I’m just overwhelmed with gratitude.”

She described the image of Trump signing the order surrounded by young female athletes as “one of the most powerful photos of his entire presidency.”

The contrast between the Trump and Biden administrations on this issue couldn’t be clearer. For years, Biden and his radical handlers championed policies that forced girls to compete against men in sports, endangering their safety and erasing decades of progress in women’s athletics. Under Biden’s watch:

  • Biological males have shattered women’s sports records in swimming, track, and weightlifting.

  • Parents and athletes were silenced for opposing the destruction of female-only competitions.

  • Girls lost scholarships and opportunities to compete at higher levels because of unfair policies.

Trump’s executive order immediately pressures the NCAA and the Olympic Committee to follow suit. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that Trump expects these organizations “to no longer allow men to compete in women’s sports.”

Banning men from women’s sports is not only the right thing to do it’s a winning issue. A recent Gallup poll found that over 70% of Americans believe transgender athletes should compete according to their biological sex. Even some liberals have started waking up to the undeniable reality that allowing men to dominate women’s sports is fundamentally unfair.

Trump’s action sends a clear message: women’s rights and fairness in competition matter. With this bold stand, he has once again proven that he is the only leader willing to fight for common sense, truth, and the future of female athletes.
