Trump to Target ActBlue Over Illegal Campaign Donations
New order directs DOJ to investigate Democrat fundraising giant for straw donor and foreign contribution schemes.

In a major move to protect election integrity, President Donald Trump is signing a presidential memorandum targeting ActBlue, the Democrat Party’s largest fundraising platform, over allegations of illegal campaign donations, The Daily Wire has learned.
The order directs Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate claims that ActBlue has facilitated "straw donor" contributions where fake or dummy donors funnel money illegally and foreign donations during U.S. elections. Bondi will report her findings directly to President Trump.
According to the White House document, the memorandum specifically cites a congressional investigation revealing “significant fraud schemes” involving ActBlue, including:
Hundreds of donations from foreign IP addresses during the 2024 election cycle.
Use of prepaid cards to make illegal foreign contributions to Democratic candidates.
Systematic laundering of excessive and prohibited contributions to political committees.
This isn’t a new problem it’s just one that Biden’s DOJ refused to address. Under Biden, while conservatives were censored and scrutinized for simply posting on social media, Democrats funneled millions through shady online platforms with zero accountability.
Trump’s move comes as evidence mounts that ActBlue has been a key tool for foreign nationals and other malign actors trying to sway U.S. elections under the radar. In the name of “grassroots fundraising,” ActBlue’s model has allowed questionable donations to flood Democratic campaigns.
Here’s the uncomfortable truth:
A 2023 study found up to 10% of ActBlue’s donations had irregular donor information, including fake addresses and suspicious patterns.
Prepaid debit cards favored for their anonymity have been linked to thousands of donations funneled through ActBlue platforms.
Despite overwhelming evidence, no meaningful investigation was launched under Merrick Garland’s Justice Department.
Now, that’s finally changing.
In a desperate internal email to her team and select allies, ActBlue CEO Regina Wallace Jones admitted the platform had “sprung into action” to prepare for Trump’s crackdown. She framed the investigation as an attack by the “Far Right” and absurdly claimed that “the weight of democracy rests on [ActBlue’s] shoulders.”
Translation They know the walls are closing in.
This is about much more than just campaign finance violations. It’s about restoring trust in American elections, ensuring that foreign money doesn’t drown out the voices of real American voters, and stopping the left from rigging the system through illegal fundraising practices.
With Pam Bondi leading the charge, Americans can finally expect a real investigation—not a political cover-up.
President Trump’s action today sends a clear message: Election interference will no longer be tolerated, whether it comes from tech platforms, foreign nationals, or Democrat money machines.
