Tommy Robinson Visits Israel and Declares Support for Jewish Homeland

British nationalist moved by Holocaust museum experience, vows to stand with Israel in global fight against Islamic extremism.

British activist and outspoken patriot Tommy Robinson is making headlines during his trip to Israel not for controversy, but for conviction. After visiting Yad Vashem, Israel’s Holocaust memorial and museum in Jerusalem, Robinson shared an emotional reflection that reshaped his understanding of Jewish history, antisemitism, and the ongoing threats facing the Jewish state.

“Yesterday I visited the Holocaust museum in Israel,” Robinson said. “It was the first time for me… and do you know what I took from that tour? I understood a lot more why words are so important to the Jewish community.”

For a man who has spent years in the political and cultural trenches often criticized for his fiery rhetoric Robinson’s shift in tone was striking. His takeaway was clear: antisemitism doesn’t start with violence; it begins with words, propaganda, and the normalization of hate. He admitted that, until now, he didn’t fully grasp the emotional weight behind Jewish concerns over antisemitic speech. But standing in the shadow of the Holocaust’s brutal legacy changed that.

Robinson’s comments weren’t just about the past they were a warning for the present.

  • He acknowledged the build-up of propaganda that enabled the Holocaust, drawing parallels to the antisemitic narratives now being amplified on social media.

  • He reaffirmed why Israel’s existence matters, especially as a sanctuary for a people who have faced extermination simply for being who they are.

  • He stressed that this is not just a Jewish issue, but a shared Western struggle against the rise of Islamic extremism.

“This place of safety is so important,” he said, “and also why they must fight and never stop fighting because of what history has done to them.”

Robinson’s visit came at the invitation of Israel’s Diaspora Affairs Minister Amichai Chikli, who praised him as a “courageous leader” in the fight against radical Islam. The invitation followed Robinson’s strong public statements after the Manchester Arena bombing, where he aligned himself with Israel and condemned jihadist terror.

“The horrific Manchester attack has strengthened my conviction that the United Kingdom and Israel are fighting the same battle against the scourge of Islamic jihad,” Robinson said on X. “Their fight is our fight. I’m a proud British patriot and a Zionist.”

Israel’s Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana echoed this sentiment, welcoming Robinson and describing the battle as global one between the forces of freedom and those of radicalism.

Robinson has long been vilified by the mainstream media and political establishment in the UK, largely because he refuses to back down from exposing the dangers of unchecked Islamic extremism. But this visit to Israel is a clear reminder that his motivations go far beyond British politics. He sees this as a civilizational fight one that ties together London, Jerusalem, and every free nation under siege by radical ideologies.

In an age where political leaders constantly cave to political correctness and moral relativism, Tommy Robinson’s unapologetic defense of Western values stands out.

If more leaders in the West had half the clarity and courage, we wouldn’t be losing ground to the enemies of freedom.
