‘Thank You, Trump’ Chants Erupt in Israel as Hostages Come Home
Thousands flood Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square to celebrate peace deal, demand Nobel Prize for Trump.

In a powerful display of gratitude and unity, thousands of Israeli citizens flooded Tel Aviv’s Hostage Square on Saturday not to protest, but to celebrate. With chants of “Thank you, Trump!” echoing through the night air, banners waving, and MAGA hats dotting the crowd, Israelis paid tribute to the man who brought their loved ones home President Donald J. Trump.
The celebration comes just days after Trump brokered the first phase of a historic peace agreement that ended the two-year war in Gaza and secured the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
“Endless applause for President Trump,” said CNN international correspondent Clarissa Ward, reporting live from the scene. Even CNN’s Wolf Blitzer noted that MAGA hats were seen everywhere.
The event was unlike anything Tel Aviv has seen in years not a protest, but a patriotic celebration of a moment that many called miraculous. Attendees held a massive banner calling for Trump to receive the Nobel Peace Prize, a sentiment that’s quickly gaining momentum both in Israel and around the world.
Key U.S. figures directly involved in the peace effort addressed the crowd:
Steve Witkoff, U.S. Special Envoy to the Middle East, praised Israel’s resilience and Trump’s leadership, declaring “May God bless Donald J. Trump, the greatest president the world has ever seen.”
Jared Kushner, a key architect of the peace deal, spoke of the heartbreak of October 7 and his pride in helping bring the hostages home. “I put Jared there because he’s a very smart person and he knows the region,” Trump said earlier this week. And clearly, the results speak for themselves.
Ivanka Trump also addressed the crowd, reaffirming her father’s unwavering support for Israel. The response? Roaring applause and chants of “Thank you, Trump.”
This isn’t just symbolic. The final wave of hostages is expected to be released by Monday, fulfilling a major part of the Trump-led agreement and providing long-awaited closure to Israeli families devastated by Hamas’ October 7 massacre.
While Biden failed for two years to even slow the bloodshed, Trump stepped in, applied pressure, leveraged diplomacy, and delivered results. Peace was never going to come through empty words or toothless diplomacy. It came through strength, strategy, and moral clarity the hallmarks of Trump’s leadership.
Let’s not forget:
Trump’s administration already delivered the Abraham Accords, securing peace between Israel and multiple Arab nations.
Now, he’s done what the global establishment couldn’t: end the Gaza war and bring hostages home.
And the people of Israel know it.
This was not just a win for diplomacy it was a win for America’s reputation abroad, for peace through strength, and for families who feared they would never see their loved ones again.
When a foreign people in a region wracked by war chant the name of an American president, it's not politics. It’s respect.
It’s leadership.
It’s Trump.
