Super Bowl Ad Honors 250 Years of American Greatness
NBC donates $8 million slot to celebrate America’s heritage and future with patriotic PSA.

While Super Bowl 60 delivered its usual spectacle of gridiron glory and pop star pageantry, one 30-second spot stood out for all the right reasons a tribute to 250 years of American greatness.
In a rare and refreshing moment of national unity, NBC aired a patriotic public service announcement that honored the United States’ semiquincentennial, marking 250 years since the birth of our nation. At a time when many in the media and political elite want to rewrite or even reject America’s story, this ad served as a powerful reminder of why this country still matters.
The commercial opened with the Statue of Liberty, then moved through a stirring montage of historical milestones:
The Wright brothers’ first flight
George Washington crossing the Delaware
Mount Rushmore and the signing of the Declaration of Independence
Scenes of American innovation, service, and sacrifice
Threaded throughout was the unmistakable presence of the U.S. military guardians of the very freedom that makes these achievements possible. The narration was simple, yet bold: “After 250 years, the American experiment still isn’t finished… the work continues because freedom is worth it.”
What made this spot even more significant is how it came to be. The ad, produced by Freedom 250, aired in one of the most expensive slots in American television valued at $8 million. But unlike the usual corporate virtue signaling or Hollywood fluff, this message didn’t cost taxpayers or donors a dime. NBC donated the airtime.
Freedom 250, a non-partisan group organizing the year-long celebration, is working alongside the White House Task Force 250 and other federal agencies. Their aim: to unite Americans of all stripes around our shared story, traditions, and freedoms an idea far more radical to today’s Left than it should be.
Freedom 250 CEO Keith Krach said it best: “The 250th anniversary will unite our entire nation in celebration of the values and freedoms that make America exceptional.”
That’s a message every American needs to hear, especially in a climate where patriotism is too often sneered at by the cultural elites.
This isn’t just about nostalgia. The biggest celebration is still ahead. On July 4, 2026, the National Mall in Washington, D.C. will host a spectacular event with military flyovers, headline performances, and a fireworks display. Simultaneously, New York Harbor will welcome naval ships from over 30 nations a powerful symbol of America’s continued strength and influence in the world.
In a divided time, this ad didn’t apologize for our country. It celebrated it. Loudly. Proudly. And unapologetically.
