Sununu Says Musk Could Drive U.S. Toward Fiscal Responsibility

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu (R) expressed optimism over Elon Musk’s potential to lead a national push for fiscal reform, describing the billionaire entrepreneur as a “catalyst” for restoring fiscal sanity in Washington. “Elon, I think, is very unique in that he’s an engineer. He’s always looking for efficiency and redesigning a system,” Sununu said. “You have to know how the system works, otherwise, you’re just going to be a lot of talk and nothing’s going to move on the Hill.”

“The guy’s worth $450 billion,” Sununu said. “He’s doing it for the bigger project and the bigger vision of America. He doesn’t need the dollars.”
