Speaker Johnson Backs Trump’s Plan to Deport Pro-Hamas Protesters
“This is just getting started,” Johnson warns as the administration cracks down on campus extremism.

House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) made it clear on Tuesday that pro-Hamas agitators like Mahmoud Khalil will not be staying in America, doubling down on President Donald Trump’s plan to strip their legal status and deport them.
Speaking at a press conference, Johnson reminded reporters that he had personally visited Columbia University during the height of anti-Israel protests, where Jewish students were being advised to stay away from campus for their own safety.
“It was dangerous. The administrators refused to take control of that campus. They refused to allow the police department to come in and take control, and it turned into chaos.”
Johnson pointed out that even after Columbia changed leadership, the situation remained out of control. With university officials refusing to act, the Trump administration is stepping in.
“The first responsibility of an administration is ensuring the safety of the students who are paying tuition to be there. For crying out loud, this madness has to stop.”
Johnson then turned his focus directly to Khalil and other foreign students participating in extremist activism.
“If you’re on a student visa, and you’re in America, and you’re an aspiring young terrorist who wants to prey upon your Jewish classmates, you’re going home,” Johnson declared.
After a brief pause, he added with a grin:
“We’re going to arrest your … tail. And we’re going to send you home where you belong. This is just getting started.”
Unlike the weak Biden administration, which allowed radical activists to use American campuses as breeding grounds for hatred and violence, Trump is taking action.
Columbia has refused to cooperate with DHS in identifying more foreign students engaged in pro-Hamas activities.
Trump and Johnson are making it clear that student visas are a privilege, not a right.
Foreign nationals supporting terrorism will not be tolerated they will be removed from the country.
Johnson’s words signal what is coming the Trump administration is cleaning house. The days of appeasing radical activists are over.
