Adam Schiff Blames Merrick Garland for Not Taking Down Trump
The left's desperation peaks as Schiff scolds Garland for refusing to fully weaponize the Justice Department.

Adam Schiff is mad again and this time, it's because one of his own didn't go far enough in the Democrats' endless crusade against Donald Trump.
In a stunning display of partisan frustration, Schiff slammed former Attorney General Merrick Garland for not being more political during his time running Joe Biden’s Justice Department. In an interview with The New Yorker, Schiff didn’t hold back. He claimed Garland’s attempt to appear nonpartisan actually allowed Trump to gain ground and potentially win reelection.
This is how far the Democrat establishment has fallen: they’re now eating their own because the federal government wasn’t weaponized enough against a political opponent.
Let that sink in.
During the interview, Schiff made several outrageous claims:
He said Garland’s “reluctance” to prosecute Trump gave the former president enough time to survive legally and politically.
He admitted that DOJ efforts were initially aimed at “foot soldiers” from January 6, while “higher-ups” like Trump were ignored for too long.
He blamed the Supreme Court for “dragging things out,” as if due process and judicial review are mere inconveniences to his agenda.
Let’s be clear: Garland wasn’t exactly neutral. Under his leadership, the DOJ oversaw some of the most politically charged investigations in modern American history including aggressive prosecutions of pro-life activists, parents at school board meetings, and anyone aligned with conservative causes.
Yet Schiff, ever the hyper-partisan operator who lied about Trump-Russia collusion for years, thinks Garland didn’t go far enough. In his view, Garland’s attempt to maintain even a shred of integrity allowed Trump to slip through the cracks and make a political comeback.
This isn’t just about Trump. It’s about the left’s dangerous belief that political opposition should be criminalized and that justice only matters when it benefits their narrative.
According to Schiff, Garland’s desire to preserve the Justice Department’s credibility a laudable aim, as Schiff reluctantly admits was a mistake because it didn’t yield a political conviction in time to stop Trump. In other words, the DOJ's job was not to uphold the law fairly, but to remove a political rival.
This mindset should alarm every American.
Here’s what Schiff really wants:
A DOJ that acts as the Democratic Party’s enforcement wing.
A Supreme Court that rubber-stamps leftist agendas.
An election system where legal challenges against Trump are decided before voters have a say.
It’s a good thing the American people are waking up. Polls show Trump leading in key battleground states, despite years of legal attacks and media smears. In fact, a recent CBS News poll found that 69% of voters believe the Trump indictments were politically motivated proving that Schiff's plan to "save democracy" by undermining it has completely backfired.
As 2024 approaches, the stakes couldn’t be clearer. Democrats like Schiff will stop at nothing to silence opposition. But their own arrogance may be what finally brings this era of political persecution to an end.
