Bernie Sanders Rallies Support for Kamala in Final Stretch of Election

The VP tries to hide her radical past while relying on far-left support to win.

As Election Day nears, Vice President Kamala Harris is doubling down on her efforts to save her campaign by enlisting high-profile leftists like socialist Senator Bernie Sanders. This comes after calling on former President Barack Obama to shore up support. But Sanders’ involvement raises serious questions about the true direction of Harris' agenda despite her attempts to distance herself from her radical positions.

Sanders, the self-declared "Democratic Socialist" and a politician known for promoting far-left policies like Medicare for All and the Green New Deal, made recent stops in Nevada and Wisconsin to rally support for Harris. His message to voters was clear: defeating Trump is a top priority for the Left. But the irony is hard to ignore. Harris is now trying to rebrand herself as a moderate, while simultaneously relying on a figure like Sanders to rally her base.

Here’s why Sanders stumping for Harris is a revealing sign of the radicalism at the heart of her campaign:

  • Harris’ Voting Record: In 2019, Harris was rated further left than even Bernie Sanders in the Senate, earning the title of the “most liberal” member. She co-sponsored Sanders’ $32 trillion Medicare for All plan, a proposal that would have eliminated private health insurance for millions of Americans. Yet, her team has conveniently distanced her from this extreme policy during this election cycle.

  • Policy Shifts: While Harris pushed for banning fracking, supporting taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants, and even backed the radical “defund the police” movement, her campaign is now trying to sell her as a centrist. It's a far cry from the Kamala Harris who openly praised Australia's strict gun confiscation laws and proposed a gun buy-back program in the U.S.

  • Green New Deal Advocate: Harris has long voiced support for the Green New Deal, which would cost taxpayers $93 trillion and wreak havoc on the economy. Like Sanders, Harris has no problem aligning with these far-left, economy-crushing ideas when it suits her.

Despite these undeniable ties to radical policies, Harris is hoping voters will forget her history as Election Day approaches. Meanwhile, Sanders is more than willing to carry the torch for her, urging his base to rally behind a candidate that, in truth, shares his extreme socialist vision. Voters must ask themselves: is Harris the moderate she's now trying to claim, or is her real agenda hiding behind the scenes, with Sanders as its biggest cheerleader?

As the clock ticks down, the Harris campaign is getting desperate pulling out every far-left stop to try and win. But will the American people fall for this repackaging? Or will they reject a candidate who's flip-flopped on her core beliefs for political gain?
