Rubio Slams Biden’s Venezuela Deal and Border Chaos in Fiery Fox News Interview

“They’re not going to sucker Donald Trump.” That was the clear message from Secretary of State Marco Rubio during a direct and blistering interview with Sean Hannity Tuesday night, where the nation’s top diplomat laid out the catastrophic failure of the Biden administration on two critical fronts the crisis at the southern border and the growing threat posed by Venezuela.

Rubio didn’t mince words when describing the collapsing socialist regime of Nicolás Maduro, whom he called a “failing dictator” who has not only crushed his own people but also allowed Iran and Hezbollah to take root in the Western Hemisphere.

“More than 8 million Venezuelans have fled,” Rubio said. “They’re flooding the region, and many are headed straight for our southern border.”

But according to Rubio, it’s not just about a humanitarian collapse it’s about national security. Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Hezbollah have embedded themselves in Venezuela, using it as a launch pad for operations in the Americas. And under Joe Biden’s weak leadership, that threat has gone virtually unchecked.

Rubio revealed a deal that few in the media have dared to cover: Biden quietly handed Maduro exactly what he wanted and got nothing in return.

“Maduro asked for the release of his nephews convicted drug traffickers from U.S. prisons,” Rubio explained. “He asked that his chief money launderer, his bag man, be released before trial. And in return, he promised free and fair elections. He got his people back. But he never held the elections.”

The Biden administration released international criminals tied to one of the most violent and corrupt regimes in the Western Hemisphere, in exchange for empty promises. Trump never would’ve made that deal and Rubio made that point loud and clear.

Turning to immigration, Rubio offered a sobering reality check: "You can only vet information that exists." He emphasized what common sense already tells us when people come from countries overrun by terrorists, corrupt governments, or non-existent bureaucracies, there is no paperwork to verify who they really are.

“Someone with no extremist record could still be pulled into ideology once inside the United States,” Rubio warned. And that’s not speculation.

Case in point: the Afghan national who gunned down two National Guard soldiers in Washington, D.C. last week. One is dead. The other, clinging to life. According to Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, the shooter was radicalized after arriving in the U.S., maintaining ties with extremists back home something no background check would have flagged.

And yet, hundreds of thousands of people like him are crossing our borders every year under Biden’s reckless policies.

“The bottom line,” Rubio said, “is there is no effective way to allow hundreds of thousands of people to enter any country in the world and not face consequences.”

Rubio’s message was simple: Trump gets it, and Biden doesn’t.

While Joe Biden gets suckered by dictators and radicalizes our own immigration system, Donald Trump is ready to shut it down and put America first again no apologies, no excuses.
