Rubio Declares No Coexistence With Evil In Powerful Defense Of Israel
At Holocaust conference in Jerusalem, Secretary Rubio delivers searing rebuke of antisemitism and affirms U.S. alliance with Israel under Trump.

In a powerful and unapologetic address at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance Minister’s Conference in Jerusalem, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio declared there can be “no coexistence with evil” and issued a blunt warning to the global community: hatred of Israel is hatred of the Jewish people.
Delivered via a pre-recorded video, Rubio’s remarks were a bold affirmation of America’s renewed commitment to Israel under President Donald Trump and a direct confrontation of the escalating antisemitism infecting Western institutions, global organizations, and far too many university campuses.
Rubio didn’t mince words:
“Antisemitism is the world’s oldest bigotry,” he said, “and also the world’s most futile.”
“There can be no nuanced separation of hatred of Israel and hatred of the Jewish people.”
“There can be no coexistence with evil. There can be no nuance to hatred.”
Referencing history’s repeated and failed attempts to annihilate the Jewish people, Rubio listed the empires and tyrants that have risen and fallen, from Roman emperors to Adolf Hitler, all united by their antisemitic fervor and all consigned to the ash heap of history. “Today, these regimes and empires have crumbled into dust,” Rubio said. “But Israel stands, and the Jewish people prosper.”
Rubio reserved particular outrage for the murder of two embassy staffers Yaron Lischinski and Sarah Milgrim killed outside the Capital Jewish Museum in Washington D.C. by a Palestinian nationalist. The killer reportedly shouted “Free, Free Palestine” as he was taken into custody a slogan Rubio pointedly identified as “a battle cry for the death of Jews and destruction of Israel.”
He drew a direct line from slogans to slaughter:
“Those who call for the destruction of Israel are calling for the destruction of the Jewish people.”
“Those who call for violence against Israelis are calling for violence against Jews.”
“Those who call to boycott Israel are calling for the boycott of their Jewish neighbors and classmates.”
Rubio praised the Trump administration for instituting a “vigorous new visa policy” to block foreign nationals who promote antisemitism from entering the United States, while also holding international institutions accountable for their anti-Israel rhetoric. These steps, Rubio said, are vital to protecting Jewish Americans and maintaining America’s moral clarity on the world stage.
He also offered a glimpse of hope: “Under President Trump’s leadership, there are signs that the future may be closer than we dared dream… one can imagine a Middle East where the Abraham Accords reign.”
In stark contrast to the appeasement and virtue-signaling that have defined the Biden administration’s posture, Rubio’s address reaffirmed a fundamental truth: peace is impossible while evil is tolerated, and there is no moral equivalence between the free people of Israel and the terrorist regimes sworn to destroy them.
