Roseanne Slams ‘Double Standard,’ Says Kimmel Returned While Her Career Was Ruined
After losing her entire career over a tweet, Roseanne Barr says Kimmel’s quick comeback shows the rules are different for the Left.

Roseanne Barr isn’t buying the media’s selective outrage and she’s calling out Jimmy Kimmel as the poster child for Hollywood’s glaring double standard.
In a fiery interview with NewsNation, the legendary comedian torched the entertainment industry for forgiving Kimmel’s outrageous comments after just a six-day suspension, while she was permanently blacklisted for a tweet made in 2018.
“I got my whole life ruined,” Roseanne said. “No forgiveness, all of my work stolen, and called a racist for time and eternity.” Meanwhile, Jimmy Kimmel returned to the air this week after mocking the assassination of conservative leader Charlie Kirk with Disney offering him a carefully worded lifeline and Kimmel refusing to issue a real apology.
Let’s not forget:
Roseanne was immediately fired and erased from her own show, The Conners, despite top ratings and massive audience support.
She deleted the tweet and publicly apologized, explaining she believed former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett was white.
Kimmel, on the other hand, never even apologized for his recent attack on conservatives and was welcomed back with open arms.
“He called me a racist,” Roseanne said, “even though I said repeatedly, which they repeatedly censored, that it was a mistake.” She also reminded viewers that Kimmel himself wore blackface on multiple occasions and somehow still holds a primetime talk show on ABC.
This isn’t about who said what. It’s about who gets destroyed and who gets protected. And in Hollywood, there’s one consistent pattern:
If you’re conservative, your career is over. If you’re liberal, you get a second chance or six.
Even after issuing a vague, emotional monologue about the Kirk assassination, Kimmel never apologized for suggesting Trump supporters were complicit in the murder. He simply played the victim, framing the backlash as a threat to free speech. Disney said it had "thoughtful conversations" with Kimmel before reinstating him something Roseanne never got.
The hypocrisy is undeniable:
Kimmel was suspended for less than a week.
Roseanne was erased from TV permanently.
Kimmel got corporate cover from Disney.
Roseanne was thrown under the bus without hesitation.
And let’s not forget the wider implications. This isn’t just about two comedians. It’s about a culture war being waged by media giants who pretend to care about equity and accountability unless, of course, the offender toes the liberal line.
Roseanne's message is clear: there’s one standard for the Left, and total destruction for everyone else.
