Republicans Claim ‘Election Integrity’ Victory Following Access Issues in Some Pennsylvania Counties

Republicans Proactively Guard Voting Standards Across Swing States.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) secured multiple victories on Election Day in its ongoing effort to safeguard election integrity, following reports that Republican poll watchers were being denied access in Pennsylvania counties. RNC Chairman Michael Whatley took to social media early Tuesday, reporting that poll watchers were initially “turned away” in eight counties, including Philadelphia, Allegheny, and Lehigh. However, swift intervention by RNC attorneys ensured Republican representatives gained access to polling locations as required by law.

“We deployed our roving attorneys, engaged with local officials, and can now report that all Republican poll watchers have been let into the building,” Whatley confirmed on X. “We will keep fighting, keep winning, and keep sharing updates.”

These incidents in Pennsylvania underscore the GOP’s expanded focus on ensuring transparency and access at the polls. The RNC has consistently advocated for clear voting standards, especially in swing states like Pennsylvania, where tight races hinge on every ballot’s legitimacy. Whatley praised the legal team’s success, noting this was one of several recent wins for election integrity.

  • Georgia’s Ballot Deadline Victory: The RNC also celebrated a win in Georgia, where it successfully challenged a plan to accept 3,000 absentee ballots that arrived after Election Day. "HUGE election integrity victory in Georgia,” Whatley wrote, describing how the Georgia Supreme Court agreed with the GOP’s stance that ballots should only be counted if received by Election Day, not afterward. “Election Day is Election Day not the week after,” Whatley emphasized, signaling the party’s commitment to defending the rules around timely ballot submission.

  • Virginia Voter Roll Victory: Another notable win for the RNC came in Virginia, where GOP officials challenged and ultimately succeeded in purging 1,600 non-citizens from the voter rolls. The case had previously been stalled by two lower courts, both of which sided with the Biden administration’s Department of Justice in an attempt to block the purge. The RNC escalated the issue to the Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of removing ineligible voters.

In this election cycle, the RNC has intensified its legal strategies to promote fair and lawful voting processes. This proactive approach has led to high-profile victories, safeguarding the rules of Election Day and helping ensure each vote cast is legitimate. For Republicans, these wins represent significant steps in protecting election integrity nationwide a message that resonates strongly with GOP supporters and voters who have expressed concerns over fair voting practices.
