Renee Good Identified as Trained Anti-ICE Activist Killed in Minneapolis Confrontation
Parents and activists call her a “warrior” as video shows her vehicle striking ICE agent before fatal shooting.

The woman fatally shot by an ICE officer during a tense confrontation in Minneapolis has now been identified by local activists as a trained anti-ICE “warrior”, raising new questions about the left’s role in escalating street-level confrontations with federal agents.
Renee Nicole Good, 37, was involved in an underground “ICE Watch” group, according to locals and fellow activists who attended a vigil in her honor. Despite her family initially denying any connection to the movement, several community members described Good as a dedicated participant who trained with other left-wing activists to monitor, confront, and resist immigration enforcement operations.
“She was a warrior. She died doing what was right,” said Leesa, a mother whose child attends the same activist-driven charter school where Good reportedly first learned about the group.
According to reports, the school encourages children as young as six to become involved in political and social movements. Good was introduced to ICE Watch through the school’s parent network, which promoted organized resistance against immigration enforcement.
Good reportedly received “thorough training” on how to interact with ICE agents, including techniques like whistling to alert others of agents' presence and documenting ICE activity.
Local sources say she regularly ate meals and held meetings with other ICE Watch members.
Her involvement points to a broader culture of left-wing activism infiltrating education, social programs, and law enforcement interactions in progressive cities like Minneapolis.
Video footage of the incident appears to show Good blocking a road ICE agents were traveling on. Officers ordered her to exit the vehicle. She initially reversed, then put the car in drive, and footage indicates she made contact with an officer before the shooting occurred.
The Trump administration has defended the agent’s actions as self-defense, pointing to the growing trend of vehicle-based attacks against ICE. The Department of Homeland Security confirmed a staggering increase in threats tied to anti-ICE activism:
1,300% increase in assaults on ICE officers
3,200% rise in vehicle attacks
8,000% spike in death threats
This surge comes as sanctuary city policies and far-left rhetoric have emboldened fringe activists, many of whom are now receiving organized training on how to interfere with federal law enforcement.
New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani and other Democrat officials quickly labeled the shooting “murder,” completely ignoring video evidence and the officer’s right to defend himself from vehicular assault.
Former ICE director Tom Homan blasted those politicizing the incident:
“If you get trained to obstruct law enforcement, if you use a vehicle to confront an armed federal officer, and you get someone hurt or worse that blood is on the hands of those teaching and encouraging this madness.”
While the federal investigation is ongoing, what’s increasingly clear is that this was not a random tragedy it was a confrontation fueled by years of dangerous messaging and radicalization from the left.
