Qatari Official Declares Support for Hamas Then Tries to Cover It Up

A senior Qatari official exposed the true face of the regime this week, openly endorsing Hamas the same terrorist group that butchered over 1,200 Israelis on October 7 before scrambling to delete the evidence.

Qatar’s deputy prime minister and minister of defense affairs, Sa’oud bin Abd Al-Rahman Al Thani, posted on X “We are all Hamas… Oh Al-Quds, revolt and commemorate Al-Qassam!” The now-deleted post echoed the rhetoric of violent jihad and celebrated Hamas’s military wing, responsible for the October massacre that included the slaughter of women, children, and elderly civilians.

This isn’t just a slip of the tongue. It’s a mask-off moment for a regime that:

• Harbors Hamas leadership in luxury accommodations in Doha.

• Operates Al Jazeera, a media network that amplified Hamas war calls and propaganda following the attacks.

• Blamed Israel alone for the atrocities of October 7, in a disgraceful statement from its foreign ministry.

Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) revealed that Al Thani has a documented history of inciting against Israel, bashing the United States, and attacking President Trump. He’s even advocated for Qatar to increase its influence over U.S. decision-makers an alarming admission considering the nation’s deep-rooted support for Islamic terror networks.

Meanwhile, Sheikha Moza Bint Nasser, the mother of the current Emir and head of the Qatar Foundation, praised former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar as a martyr-figure who "lives on" while calling for the eradication of Israel. This wasn't some fringe voice this is elite Qatari royalty, openly pushing genocidal ideologies.

And let’s not forget Majed Al-Ansari, the Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesman, who has a history of praising Hamas’s blood-soaked operations. These are the people the Biden administration still entertains as partners in peace.

The international left, and especially the current Democratic administration, continues to pretend that Qatar can somehow be a neutral peace broker in the Middle East. But the facts speak for themselves:

• Qatar has funneled over $1 billion to Hamas over the past decade.

• The country maintains close ties to Iran, another top sponsor of terror.

• Al Jazeera has long served as a mouthpiece for radicals and militant groups under the guise of “journalism.”

Qatar’s government is not part of the solution. It is a core part of the problem. These latest posts simply confirm what many already knew Qatar is playing both sides, all while financing and celebrating the very terrorists who aim to wipe Israel off the map.

It’s time for the U.S. to stop treating Qatar as a partner and start recognizing it for what it is a state sponsor of terrorism hiding behind oil wealth and slick PR.
