Protesters Attack Federal Agents at California Pot Farm

What happened in Camarillo, California last week wasn’t just another left-wing protest it was a criminal assault on federal law enforcement. As agents conducted an immigration raid on a cannabis farm suspected of housing illegal immigrants and using child labor, they were met with rocks, gunfire, and violent resistance from radical leftists emboldened by the rhetoric of the Democratic Party.

Former acting ICE Director Tom Homan didn’t mince words when reacting to the attack: “What happened in California is another example of protesters becoming criminals,” he said. “They’ve been emboldened by members of Congress who compared ICE to Nazis and racists and terrorists.”

Here’s what really went down:

• Federal agents detained multiple illegal immigrants at a marijuana grow operation in Camarillo.

• Authorities discovered 10 children, including eight unaccompanied minors, triggering a child labor investigation at the site.

• Left-wing agitators threw rocks at government vehicles and one man was even seen on camera firing a handgun at federal officers.

This isn’t free speech this is lawlessness. And it’s happening under the watch of a Democratic Party more interested in virtue-signaling and pandering to radical activists than protecting law enforcement or the safety of our communities.

Tom Homan warned weeks ago that this escalating anti-ICE rhetoric would lead to violence, and he was tragically proven right when a gunman opened fire at a Border Patrol facility in Texas, injuring three before being shot dead. The consequences of Democrat-endorsed chaos are no longer hypothetical they're happening in real time.

The silence from Democrat leaders is deafening. Where’s Kamala Harris, the so-called “border czar”? Where’s Joe Biden? This administration has turned a blind eye as:

Over 291,000 unaccompanied minors who crossed the border received no court notices and have yet to face an immigration judge.

ICE has already located 10,000 missing children, yet the media refuses to cover the crisis.

Violent leftist mobs are physically assaulting agents upholding the rule of law.

As Homan put it plainly, “They hate President Trump more than they love their community. They hate President Trump more than they want safe communities.”

The American people deserve better than this dereliction of duty. We need leadership that defends our borders, protects our children, and backs the men and women of law enforcement not one that excuses violent behavior and ties the hands of ICE and Border Patrol.
