Renee Brown, a 36-year-old bartender and mother of a 9-year-old daughter, was feeling down about working on Christmas Eve instead of spending it at home baking cookies and watching movies with her child. Brown described the moment to Music Mayhem, saying that she didn’t even realize Malone was there at first. The bar gradually became livelier, and soon she spotted him enjoying the atmosphere with his friends.

“I told all my regulars not to be weird and bug him as it’s a neighborhood dive bar, and I’m sure he picked a place like that to feel a sense of normalcy,” she said, adding that the singer lifted everyone’s spirits just by being there.

As the night wrapped up, Post Malone insisted on paying for something, even though many regulars and his friends had already covered his drinks. Brown rang him up for a single penny only to later discover he had left a $20,000 tip.

Overwhelmed with emotion, Brown broke down in tears, realizing how much this unexpected gift would impact her life.

“I work two jobs and homeschool my daughter. We’ve been without a car for two years. And recently moved after losing everything and starting over from scratch,” she shared.

The massive tip meant Brown could finally afford transportation, catch up on rent, and start saving for a business a dream she has been working tirelessly toward.

“This was truly a blessing that I can’t fully put into words,” she said. “The visit alone was amazing, but this changed my life.”

Brown later posted about the experience on Instagram, calling Post Malone “the most humble, personable celebrity” she had ever met.
