Palestinian Flags Flood Paris as Soccer Riots Leave Two Dead

Victory celebrations for PSG turn violent as anti-Israel demonstrators hijack the streets, clash with police, and wreak havoc across the city.

What should have been a historic celebration of French soccer turned into a deadly riot in Paris and once again, anti-Israel agitators were front and center, using the moment to hijack the streets and push a radical agenda.

After Paris Saint-Germain’s commanding 5-0 win over Inter Milan in the Champions League final the first such victory for a French team in over 30 years chaos erupted across Paris, with violent mobs clashing with police, vandalizing vehicles, and swarming iconic city landmarks.

Amid the destruction, one image stood out: waves of Palestinian flags, hoisted high by protesters who transformed a sports celebration into a political battlefield.

Videos and photos from the scene show demonstrators wearing keffiyehs, waving Palestinian, Algerian, Moroccan, and Tunisian flags, and chanting slogans against Israel part of a broader anti-Israel protest movement that had already made its way into the championship match itself in Munich. During the game, Paris Saint-Germain fans unveiled a massive banner accusing Israel of “genocide in Gaza,” a baseless claim that could now cost the club a €10,000 fine.

Let’s be clear: there is no credible evidence that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza. Even Biden’s own former Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated unequivocally that the U.S. has “no evidence of genocide.” The Gaza Health Ministry controlled by Hamas continues to release highly unreliable data, which even the Associated Press has acknowledged doesn’t support the claim that the majority of casualties are women and children. In fact, over 60% were adult males or had no listed gender.

Back in Paris, the real-world cost of this reckless mob action was tragic:

  • A 17-year-old boy was stabbed to death in the town of Dax

  • A 23-year-old man was struck and killed by a vehicle while riding a scooter

  • At least 192 people were injured, and 559 arrested, according to the French Interior Ministry

France’s security forces were overwhelmed by the scale of the unrest, which mirrors a broader trend of unchecked pro-Palestinian radicalism morphing into violence and civil disorder across Europe. What started as a moment of national pride quickly descended into yet another opportunity for leftist and Islamist agitators to sow division and destruction.

Make no mistake: this wasn’t about soccer it was about ideology. And once again, law enforcement and innocent citizens paid the price.

The global Left’s obsession with turning every platform into a mouthpiece for anti-Israel propaganda has real consequences. It emboldens mobs, spreads misinformation, and turns city streets into war zones all while undermining the rule of law and public safety.

France’s leaders must take a hard look at the growing radicalism in their streets. And America should take note, too because what’s happening in Paris could be coming here next if we don’t stand firm against the same ideologies taking root in our own institutions.
